If you want to save your current transmission it is worth every penny.
I would think a 2k clutch is cheaper than a new transmission. An RST clutch would work well too, if the 2K is steep and I agree it is a lot of money. But, you do get what you pay for.
Will this chatter like the rst?

I didn't think the RST did chatter?
I'm pretty sure the Mantic will not chatter. VMP uses this clutch in some of their builds.

What's not quality about a McLeod? Just don't know enough about either to know.

McLeod has a better clutch than the RXT, can get it 1,2 or 3 disc and rated at 1,2 and 3,000hp. Little over 3k for the twin disc.

How is the clutch doing?
Interested to hear feedback as well.
Zero Issues. Fully broken in and two track days at Sebring and The FIRM in Starke, FL. The hotter the clutch gets, the harder it sticks and its a great thing to feel. Once you get used to the light feel of the clutch and get back into a stock clutch car, you really notice the difference

So a quick review of mine. It has been in since last November. It's the cerametalic version. Slips easier than stock. I can drive up my inclined driveway without any throttle input. No chatter on startup or idle, no chatter while driving with the exception of bogging the motor a little bit. While teaching my wife to drive my car I noticed a few time she didn't down shift when she slowed for a turn or something, if you give any throttle lower than say 1200rpm in a gear that's too high there will be some floater plate rattle. Stops as soon as you're beyond 1500rpm. If you're an experienced driver, as am sure you all are, you will never hear this clutch.
