Mustang Tuning Specialists- Streetfighter Workshops

Vehicle technology over the last decade and especially the last several years has advanced at a faster rate than ever before.
This is also true for the all new Australian 2016 Mustang.

The major advancements are not so much the mechanical aspects but the ever evolving electronics that now run most vehicle systems including engine and transmission calibrations.
Current vehicle electronics on the all-new Mustang are so advanced that almost every major component of the car knows what the other system components are doing at any given point.

This means that the engine knows exactly what the brake system is doing, the brakes know what the transmission is doing, even down to systems knowing what octane fuel you have in the tank.

To be able to tune the new Mustang correctly requires the workshop specialist to be up to date with an intimate knowledge of the advanced systems that control the vehicle.
Without training and a thorough understanding of the new Mustang, an unsuspecting tuner can easily create problems in multiple areas of the vehicle management systems.

Traditional tuning methods will not take into account the multiple interactions that that can be affected by making unsuspecting tuning changes.
For example, the tuner may achieve a power increase, however the transmission reacts incorrectly or the driveability suffers, or the vehicle continually goes into safety mode or even worse false system interaction causes complete failure.

The specialist also needs to understand the effect that adding an upgrade component may cause to the complete vehicle performance.
Understanding how to correctly select and tune a component so that it interacts perfectly with the vehicle is paramount in upgrading your new Mustang.

We have already experienced multiple cases of unsuspecting Mustang owners purchasing parts off internet or from overseas companies causing fitment or drivability issues.
This is due to the owner having to organise their own fitment with tuning being supplied from overseas not suiting our Australian conditions or your individual vehicle perfectly.

You cannot achieve optimum results for your individual Mustang with a tune calibration that is generic (one tune fits all).
Optimum, reliable results are achieved by monitoring signals from your individual Mustang on dyno while recalibrating to suit our unique Australian fuels and conditions.

Streetfighter Specialist Workshops have had firsthand training in the calibrations of the Mustang system. This ranges from computer power re-calibrations on dyno, Supercharger upgrades to full vehicle builds.

Every Streetfighter Mustang calibration/tune is carried out on our own specialist workshop dyno, using local fuels whilst calibrating and customising all parameters to perfectly suit your individual upgrade and vehicle for optimum results.

With Ford specialist calibration engineer training and component systems training direct from manufactures, Streetfighter workshops can correctly take care of all your Mustang performance requirements.

Only a Streetfighter Workshop near you can offer a 3 Year Driveline Warranty and ADR Compliancy of our products and packages for your new Mustang.

Professional, peace of mind, road legal performance for your all-new 2016 Mustang.

Exactly what I have tried to tell multiple people on these threads. The mustang is a very very complex beast, best of luck with the tuning KPM

Any chance of putting up video / sound files with the catback and full headers exhausts?

Also, what hp gains are you seeing on the dyno from just the exhaust without the sf tune, and is the tune a 'must' with the full exhaust?

My apologies
We have been so busy of late that we have lacked making a sound file video. It is still on the cards and should be done in the next few weeks.

Below is a dyno graph showing rear wheel killowatts.
Standard is approx 240-250 rwkw
Full Streetfighter Exhaust and Custom tune increases to over 300 rwkw. ( approx 370-380 fwkw )

The vehicle must be tuned with a full exhaust as the Streetfighter system flows a huge amount more than standard. This requires adjustment of many parameters to ensure reliability and optimum performance.

A cat back system does not require any custom tuning. This is due to negligible power gains from the standard headers and cats still being restrictive.

I'm interested in the 280 kW power package for my ecoboost as the first mod. It's my daily driver so low-mid range poke is really what I'm after.

Do you have any sound files or sample dyno charts for it? I want an exhaust that's more interesting than stock but not too loud or droning on the highway. I've briefly spoken with the Streetfighter rep here in Canberra but they haven't done any ecoboost packages as yet, only GTs, so can't really tell me what they're like from first hand experience.

Does the tune require 98 octane fuel?

Also with the warranty. Is regular servicing through Ford sufficient to maintain the warranty?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I'm confused.
You're saying that people should avoid "generic" tunes.
Can you please explain how the Ngauge tune you offer isn't a generic tune?
Other than yourselves, I'm not aware of anyone in Australia offering a generic tune.
Unless I'm wrong, you are offering a "one size fits all" solution. A tune in a box. No revisions.
Are you therefore suggesting that your customers should avoid buying that from you because it is in fact a generic tune?
I think the question is legitimate.

Lets see if this post gets removed because its a forum sponsor. Just like the thread with the poor guy getting ripped off with poor workmanship and aftersales support.

This is the thread incase people missed it (which wouldnt suprise me since it was shunted to the back corner of the forum away from Australian users) http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79743&page=3

I'm sorry David, but the only cars I've heard of with driveability issues in Australia are those running your CUSTOM tunes.

Hi Burkey

As per our statements on post #1

Yes we maintain
"You cannot achieve optimum results for your individual Mustang with a tune calibration that is generic (one tune fits all).
Optimum, reliable results are achieved by monitoring signals from your individual Mustang on dyno while re-calibrating to suit our unique Australian fuels and conditions."

Although our Streetfighter nGauage tunes are customized on Australian Mustangs with Australian fuels and to our conditions, they are not optimum to individual vehicles like a customized dyno tune.
They can definitely still be classified as a Generic Tune, although they have been customized to Australian conditions.
Although we do sell the Ngauge as an alternative to the U.S imported tunes, Streetfighter would always recommend customized dyno tuning for absolute optimum results.
