I really dislike the cars center console and armrest door panels. Plastic to the extreme, not a big fan of seats either

If cup holders are clutter you wouldn't like my cockpit very much. Two smart phones, two radar detectors and a police scanner.
Pics please...... I love organized confusion.

I don't want to hijack the OPs thread but quick pic.

I'll probably post a tour of the electronics after I upgrade the scanner. TX DPS has almost completely migrated over to P25 so this unit is really only good for small PDs I run across out on the interstate.

I'm moving up to either a BCT996 or possibly the new BCT885 if I like the initial reviews. I'm really waiting for the 885 to drop before I spend anything.

It's an organized mess for sure.

Very clean but I need to put my Big Gulp somewhere. I can only use the one closest to the shifter anyway. My arm angle and shifting does not work if I use the one closer to the arm rest/center storage. No fast food in her yet but I know the day will come.

How do you access the keyless port that is under the rear cup holder with this change?
Or do you think you may never use it?.
What is this keyless port you are referring to?

I'm a huge fan of actual custom stuff (not just buying pre-made stuff, although I do that too) and this looks fantastic.

I use my cupholders also but man, that is a sharp less is more kind of look.

Lift up your cup holder's bottom rubber lining, there is a port in there to insert the keyfob in case the battery ever dies or the car won't recognize it. This way you can start the car and drive in those circumstances.

Once I had to do this, the car simply would not recognize that the keyfob was in the car. A Google search turned up this solution.
