Yeah, I actually remember the nightly body counts on CBS Evening News. And seeing a new 1967 GTO, in purple, go burbling by. Sounds like you're right there with me.I am only speaking for myself but I suggest that you and I are two of the more senior members on here and I mean that only from an age standpoint and lots to learn from these young guns!!
Not sure if you were around when these came out but I got beat so bad in 3 stop light to stop light races back in 1969 that I had to go out and buy one so my son and I bought this unit 21 years ago.
Just shows you how old I am.:doh:

That's really cool oldmachguy. Awesome to see your new Mustang where it all comes together. I always get a kick out of looking at the pics from KarKraft with the Boss 9's getting worked over.

Finally
Finally took delivery, and she's on a Plyco transport headed to my detailer. I'm posting from my phone at the airport, and the battery is about dead, so just a couple of comments / first impressions about the very short drive I had.
Very light clutch effort, with relatively high engagement.
The sound of pebbles being thrown off the tires.
Very well planted ("hooked up" as Randy P said) - I did get a couple of corners.
Oh, that sound!
Spectacular car. Well worth the wait. Ford crushed it.
I, for one, am going to love DD'ing it. Way more than my '06 C6 Z06. :ford:
More later - after the PPF, CQuartz, tag, and I've installed the splitter. :cheers:

Yea, the pebbles...... I'm not driving mine until the xpel is done. I was told it was a bit of a wait. I'm looking forward to following your progress. We are both new R owners and I know exactly where you are coming from.

Plyco dropped HR606 at my ppf installer today. First rate experience. (BTW, the "old" in oldmachguy refers to me, not the red car.:lol

Looking good! I'm waiting for my LB R this month, too. Who's installing your PPF? I'm CA, also, and need to schedule the job.
