Where did you find the gears? I know us gear makes them but ford performance told me they were discontinued.

Order is in. We shall see if they actually deliver. Fingers crossed. I'll give you the vendor name if they come thru.

I had 4.56 in my foxbody and it wasn't enough so I had 5.13
I'd like to see the gt350 with more gear.

I agree the GT350 needs more gear, at least for street driving it could use it. On the road course the factory gears are fine. I would like to have a chance at something steeper than the 4.09 ratio, though.

Yukon has 4.56's on the docket for this summer.

I just put the 4.11's from us gear in my big cam 5.0, love them.

run GT350R height tires for the track then. Use the taller GT350 spec tires for better ride and rim protection on the street.

I would like to run R tire sizes and compound on the track and maybe I will once I'm done with other costly upgrades such as fixing the cooling. However, your suggestion is backwards. On the street I'd like the shorter tires or steeper gears more so than on the road course.

Moving to 4.11's and dropping down to a 26" tire worked wonders for my setup.

My setup makes power in a pretty similar way to the 5.2 due to the VCT deletes and 9k redline. The only difference being that the MT82 has a slightly better gearing spread than the 3160. It's a shit gearbox, but at least it has that highlight... Crunching the numbers, it looks like a 4.56 would be a good gear for the "C gearspread" 3160 found in the 350's.
