GT350 toys and models

I also have the GT Spirit GT350R model on order, expect to be getting it soon. Mine is coming from Italy and is currently in transit.

There's another RC toy available by New Brite. I've seen it at Walmart, but the Maisto RC car has much better looking details, so I passed on this one.



IMHO, the best looking and performing RC car is the Vaterra Mustang GT. While not a GT350, I'm very tempted to get one of these.

They are quick models, not your run of the mill new bright where they barely have enough go to move on a smooth surface. These do about 25 to 30 mph. Stick a Lipo in it and it will be a little rocket. Enjoy

I did something similar to mine! I used the official Ford Race Red touch up paint for the hood to get rid of the stripes. It's almost the exact same color as the rest of the car. I want to try my hand at painting in the headlights or getting stickers in there.

I received my GT Spirit GT350R today. Very nice model, but I wish the doors would open. The seats on mine look pretty accurate and do not have the grey on the seats seen on some of the pre-production photos.

Still hoping for more diecast models in 1:18 or 1:24 scale, especially in other colors, like my deep impact blue! ;)

Yeah I want one to add to my collection but in Race Red like my R. All of my other 1:18 scale Mustangs are Red (67 GT500, 1993 Cobar, 2000 Cobra R, 2007 GT500, 2006 Ford GT)

GT Spirit has released a light metallic blue version of their GT350R; which seems to be trying to emulate the original GT350R show car.

I've seen these popping up on eBay. Not sure if I'll get this one, as I have the white one already and the blue doesn't quite look like Ford's liquid blue to me.

Looks nice; but I still want a mag gray

I couldn't resist buying the blue version of the GT Spirit car. Of course I had to make some minor modifications to the stripes on mine. :lol:

Looks like the Blue one has the saggy rear bumper

So I would say they nailed it on accuracy :lol:

I still have a bunch of race red automotive paint left over from when I painted my golf cart. Let me know if you need a small amount here and there.

I noticed that Fast Lane now has a 1/24 scale RC GT350R in Race Red, available at Toys R Us and ebay etc...

Am I going to have to pant my own?

Sorry lemers, you might have to paint your own. Everything out there so far seems to be either in white, blue or red. I've not spotted a Magnetic in miniature yet. The closest is this unpainted hotwheels prototype. But the asking price is a ridiculous 100 bucks on ebay.
