Clutch stuck to the floor please help

Making a left turn onto traffic, hit it in first went to switch into second and it locked me out. Clutch stuck to the floor. Gear shifter moves when the car is off. Can't put it into gear when thE car is on. Car won't move. What's broke?

When you say stuck, is it stuck to the floor where it can't be moved? Have you tried manually bringing the pedal up?

odds are its the clutch. Dealership may replace it under warranty, or they may not. But you won't know that until they do a tear-down and then call you back with the status, so you will have to decide if you want to let them install another OEM clutch, or go aftermarket.

Its not something new. Its the clutch. Shut the car off and it will pop back up if you hit it a few times. This is a known issue since 2011 with the mt82. Happens are HIGH RPM revving / shifting.

Swap clutch and your good.

Started it back up but still stuck to the floor I can move it with my hand. When I push it to the floor it won't come back up smfh

I can roll through the gears when the car is off. When I turn the car on it won't let me switch into any gear

just get it towed over to your dealership and let them diagnose. Doesn't Ford offer free towing?

Yeah I got it towed to Ford. They don't know until they take it apart but that won't be until weds smh. I was Trying to narrow it down.

Exactly .Reading online. It says if the pedal is stuck to the floor and doesn't come up its a failed clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder failed.

I had the same thing happen to me today. My car is supercharged but when I went from second to third the clutch stayed on the floor. It was around 7000 rpm when I shifted. Smoked the clutch bad enough to see smoke in the road and that horrible smell in the car. The car is still drivable but it hurt the clutch bad. Never had that happen on any super charged cars before. Actually I have never had that happen on any car.

Yeah,,,beginning to think I should have gone with a auto. My clutch went out at 900 miles...pedal stuck to floor. Replaced it with stock. Later when I supercharged the car went with the RXT. Today blew the tranny out on 2nd to 3rd shift....:(

Did u take the clutch spring out????!!!

Nope ford said it was my clutch. But I'm thinking about going with a McLeod next and replacing the spring withe steeda. The spring might have caused this issue. Never got a warning the clutch was on the way out. No hard pedal, smoke, smell or slip. Went out on me. Stuck on the side of the road
