Had the oil change yesterday and after opening the oil filter note theres metal
They said drive it till we get the new motor and bring it in for the exchange
They have been awesome to say the least

Tape the daylights out of the front end of the car before you bring it in.

Read up on break in best practices here.

Never honk on it until the OIL TEMPERATURE reaches 190F

I'm not sure if anyone touched on this yet but I'm Pretty sure the motor gets dropped out from the bottom. drop front subframe and swap motor. bolt on accessories and fill with fluids.

This is the first thing I thought of when I read concerns about Dents and other damage that may happen during an engine swap.
I've seen many engines removed at dealerships. They've done it a few times and have it down pretty well. It's not the snot nosed idiot make ready kid under the car pulling the engines.
OP, I wish you well on your engine replacement, and I hope they also replace everything that could be holding old OPG metal that could potentially destroy the new engine.
