Some time ago i purchased a set of vertical links from the states,to cut a long story short, they were faulty and i never fitted them, got into words with the manufacturer and supplier, didnt agree with there policy on resolving the problem so they've been stuck on the shelf in the garage. Anyway I've ordered the BMR bearing type links which i hope to fit when i do the discs. Will i need an alignment done after as I'm sure i read somwhere they are slightly longer?

Cant answer your specific question, but would you mind letting us know (or give a good clue) as to the manufacturer of the faulty ones?

Bad customer service deserves as much publicity as good, and id like to avoid giving my money to companies that treat their customers like shit :)

Thx!

They had a crack in the bushing going all round that opened up when you put pressure on the bolt hole.

It was months ago now, once bitten as they say!

Had BMR vertical spherical/delrin links on my car. Couple months later creak creak, mentioned it to Kelly from BMR who expressed shipped me new spherical bearings to replace the delrin as it was an issue they had seen. He did all this free of charge.

Got the spherical pressed in making them the spherical/spherical version which I think is all they sell now and one year later, absolutely fine still, no noises, no failure, just working as designed. :)

Distance between centre bolt holes to original are about 5mm longer but as the bearings can move to an angle i guess it doesn't matter.
