My GT350 has just hit 5,000kms/3,000 miles and I'm starting to get strange sounds. I'm thinking it is suspension bushings needing some grease. I also get creaking in the rear and front left pedal box area (or so it seems) when going down the hill into my underground parking as it flexes and twists the body.

Here is a link to a video of the noise that just started from my dash cam when parking the car. (Turn radius not nice on this car for my parking spot) (I reduced the video quality as the sound is the important part) Turn the volume up on the video.

Anyone else experienced this or any thoughts?

That's an odd one, could it be your exhaust valves making noise?

I can only hear this at slow speeds when turning. Pretty sure it is suspension related. What makes you suspect exhaust valves?

I'm thinking you're right with bushings, Possibly a spring twisting. Have heard similar complaints from guys that go to lowering springs on the Mustang GT's

Mine is making a clunk when going from backing up to initial forward movement or pulling up into the driveway or an incline. 1500 miles. I suspect like yours it is the front lower ball joints. I have seen reports of others having similar issues.

Just to clarify, this is not happening while turning the steering wheel?
Correct it happens with a change in direction at initial movement or a greater than average suspension deflection at very slow speed.

hmm, trying to remember, it could be. Sometimes it doesn't do the noise at all. I just came back from a trip to the bank and no real sound this time. A couple a days ago, I would get a noise from the front struts/suspension when going over a speed bump but than nothing this morning. Very odd. I do have an appointment with a dealer this Friday morning to check it out.

Balljoint? Tie Rod?

Interesting last night when I pulled into my parking spot. I finished turning the steering wheel, and I hadn't moved yet, and the noise was continuing for about 3 seconds without moving the car?
