Hi guys, I just wanted to take some time and show you the new Whipple heat exchanger they are now offering. It is dimensionally the same height and length but it is now roughly 4" in depth and is also a dual pass setup vs the single pass of the original version. I will leave the actual numbers to the professional ( Whipple SC) but I believe it will keep the IC fluid roughly 15Âş cooler than the original version and the surface area has greatly increased. Keep in mind this will delete the fans as they will no longer fit. While installing it we found it held roughly 1/4 to 1/2 gallon more fluid. Here are the pictures taken during the install on 4orceFed 's 16 PP GT. Mine is somewhere between California and Massachusetts as I type!

Compared to the original version this is massive

It's even thicker than the original with the fans still attached

This is very easy to install. It comes with a hose barb and extension hose to reach the other side as it is now a dual pass. It re-uses the same bracketry and upper hose keeping it fairly simple.

Please note the one in the pictures above is a prototype version which is bare aluminum but the final production versions will be black.

Shout out to db252 & Roh92cp for your participation in this as well  Such a great bunch of guys!

Woah, looks like good quality stuff. That thing must be pretty good to be able to eliminate the fans.

Can't wait to get mine either and it was a good time installing this on Jays car with the wolf pack. Would have had mine now as well but waiting on the black. I never had the fans and never needed them even with high heat track days or any other weather we get here in CA. Good job Jaime.

Is this going to be an upgrade part or will it be the new standard issue in their kits?

It was fun installing that huge heat exchanger on Jay's car with you guys. This summer when you guys come out we can do mine at Jamie's garage and my air ride:headbang:

Looks really nice. I wonder if you can fit some forward facing fans on there. They def don't seem to fit between the H/E and the AC condenser, but you may still be able to toss some slim fan on the bottom half of the H/e to get some air flow going through it while you hang out in the staging lanes.
