Hello stang nation

Just traded in my Ecoboost mustang for a GT but still keep my SCT & Cobb accessport. I was wondering if I can reuse the accessport with my GT? If so any additional steps needed?

Accessport doesn't work with the GT, nor does Cobb have any intentions of it being adapted to the GT platform.

Sell the access port and go with a nGauge from a reputable tuner...

Yes. You can read and clear codes with the nGauge.

Unfortunately the Cobb AP will not work and there is no Cobb device out there that is meant for the GT. SCT x4 or Lund Racing nGauge and Lund Tune FTW!

Ok cool thanks for the input. I'm probably going to keep the SCT for now and sell the Cobb accessport

Cobb stopped supporting naturally aspirated engines years ago. They decided to only support turbo engines as a business strategy.

We highly recommend the Lund Racing nGauge with their custom tune. It's what we run on all of our shop cars. You'll definitely be happy with the setup.

Give us a call if there's anything we can help you with. We're Lund Racing's largest dealer and here to assist you.

Thanks!!

I remember that too. I had a G35 and Cobb had an accessport for the 350/g35 platform. I was about to purchase one when they made the announcement. Decided to go a different route due to it. Fast forward and I just got rid of my BMW 135i which they do offer accessports for and I had one. Year or so ago though they said they would still offer it but no longer invest anymore in R&D for that platform. Most of everyone jumped to a different programmer as they started to unlock the TCM and other features. I see them sticking around in the Ford Ecoboost market like they have with the subaru.
