I was about to say how the hell did I miss that! After watching some videos with kooks headers and the Xtreme or ATAK cat back, that setup has just the right amount of obnoxious fuck you everyone hehe!

Will need a tune to go with it though.

I have the hurricane headers. Car made 289rwkw with exhaust, cai and tune.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, no point me doing a new one etc.

Now the Mustangs are becoming more main stream, seems more people are now getting full exhausts (Headers) wanted to know peoples thoughts etc.

So far the Headers players are.
difillipo, Kooks, Xforce, Streetfighter, Hurricane

Want to know Fitment, Price if possible, dyno results, why you picked your brand header.

I've got the full Streetfighter exhaust (incl headers and cats) and tune.
Now making about 280kw at the wheels. Mine's an auto btw.
And it came with a driveline warranty with it for piece of mind.

Before the tune, with just the full exhaust and cai it made mid-250s at the wheels.

Love it!
Initially I thought it was a bit too loud and raspy/tinny, but after a couple of weeks it carboned-up and now sounds smoother and more 'grown up'.
Definitely not obnoxiously loud.
A very sensible sounding exhaust whilst cruising, and a screamer at wot.

Feels & sounds angrier, pulls harder from lower rpm, revs up much quicker (curtesy of headers and cats) and is a much nicer beast to drive.
It just feels more rapid/responsive and somehow at the same time smoother to drive.

If you do the BMR CB006 4pt. brace I understand Kook's won't fit, so there's that.

Talked with my workshop turner, and decided to go xforce all the way with K&N Cai.

Will do vids and results once the work is completed.

My local performance garage recommended Pacemaker headers. Anyone heard about them?

NB. Car is manual, 3/4 tank of fuel, kiddie seats still installed, 27 ambient, crap barometric and a terrible track. No other excuses that I can think of

Happy with the final result for sure. Just a bitch to install.
Put it this way, I was only 0.3 off the best time of a blown, meth injected, 5.7litre Monaro. I'd say she goes ok.

Xforce engine back installed Airaid CAI and tune seen my car go from 248rwkw with Corsa catback to 292.1rwkw and damn it pulls hard.
