Just got back from my first ride. Initial thoughts?

Love it. I live in a converted warehouse (old toy factory!!) of 8 apartments. I start my car in the basement at 6am every day. The stock exhaust my bf could hear when laying in bed hearing me go. Our neighbours arw quote conservative, to the extreme of complaining about my 'mopping music' at midday on a weekend. The Varex system on closed is almost silent, stealth mode achieved.

When I open her up? She barks and bites, yet maintains her dignity.
I'm a chick who wears suits and heels, so I needed to retain a little class!

Having said that, I have just committed to going the full monty. I go back for headers and a tune in the next 2 weeks. I knew I should have just done it all in one go. :headbonk:

Can I ask.. how $$$ is the varex?

I was quoted 6k for the catback, air raid CAI, headers, tune.
Paid 3.2 for the CAI and catback, with another 3k in two weeks to go back and do the headers/tune. I knew I should have bitten that bullet in the first place.
Not the cheapest, but it fits my needs.

Which Dealer did you get your car from Kim, and are they doing the exhaust for you?

Mine's a Black Shadow as well; they're a lovely looking car.

Congrats- how are you coping with the wait? It's all worth it. I'm three weeks into ownership, and in love.

I purchased through Brad Garlicks in Ryde. Was torn between them, and Sinclair Ford. Stuck with Garlicks as I have a long business relationship with them.
And you?

Garlicks fitted my springs and tint. They also arranged my paint protection and opticoat at an external paint specialist.
The exhaust and CAI was fitted at Autowerk in Beverly Hills.

Michael at Brad Garlick service desk was quite excited when he heard I had ordered a "full fat" Mustang .. then he was a wee bit upset when he found out I went to Hammo at Sinclairs!

If you ever deal with him, tell him Liverpool suck. And Bolton Wanderers forever!

Mr Rallis is quite a character. Always found it productive to get to know my service manager - we've had a couple of private cars thru them, and he has always looked after us for service of the vehicles. He sometimes pulls rabbits out of hats when a rabbit is needed urgently.

I've had mine for 12 months now, going in soon for first service. Mine is a weekend drive so low mileage. I'm wrapped in it, love it.

I got mine from Hammo at Sinclair Ford, we're a long time customer there and I agree with your comment about having a good relationship with the service staff. I've found it works wonders.

For catback with standard control should be somewhere around $2300/$2500 even with black tips, smartbox is an extra $500.

Picked mine up

Hip pocket a little lighter today. Made the final payment before delivery on Saturday. I had a quick visit also to discuss where I want the plates. Also went under the knife. Having surgery to increase the volume:eyebulge:
