Hey all,

Just wondering if any of you have swapped your tranny fluid yet? With only 450kms on my car so far the shifts from 1-2 especially are notchy and that annoying clunking noise I've been reading so much about. Looking to swap it out with fully synthetic. (had similar issue with my CivicSI, swapped it at 11k and now with 167k no issues and still shifts like new)

BG Syncro Shift II seems to be the best. Is there any Canadian sellers out there? I HATE paying the crazy extra $$$ for shipping and our terrible exch rate :(

Instead of looking into changing your tranny fluid, you might want to look into this: Blowfish Racing Manual Shifter Support Bracket 2015-2017 .... http://www.cjponyparts.com/blowfish-racing-manual-shifter-support-bracket-2015-2017/p/MSSB1/

Since having this bracket installed earlier this year, my shifts (especially going from 1st to 2nd) have been solid and smooth ... got rid of a lot of grinding even though I had the clutch all the way in.

Had this installed at DaSilva Racing in Pickering (905-837-7700) ... great bunch of guys who stand behind their work .... give them a call!!! http://www.dasilvaracing.com/

Dayuuum. Cool idea thanks!

For now I'm going to swap the fluid and see if it makes a difference. After that if still no change. Blowfish it is!

My first post on this forum. Anyway, you'd think by now, that since 2005, the manual trans tower mount isn't far enough back to use, that Ford would spec their transmission with extra mounting points on the tail section to allow for a proper shifter mounting. This mount one end of the shifter to the trans and the other to the body just seems wrong to me as it can allow flexing as the engine torques and possibly interfere with the gates.
