This is really unprofessional and I wouldn't buy from them just based on their behavior here. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior and I'm sure when you need to contact them this is what you can expect for support...crickets. Remember if they want to justify their high price tag and compare to other established vendors, you have to factor in the support, which you will have none.

You'll have support WHEN the kit is released. Right now, we have nothing to sell, only to show and discuss AS we have updates.

The major setback has been the turbo manifold castings, as we spent about a year working with a supplier who has clearly been unable to produce the product we contracted them for, costing us ALOT of time, money and wasted effort.

Fortunately, 100% of the remainder of the kit is done, so we have decided to build the manifolds by hand in the near-term until we can find a reliable supplier to partner with for the castings.

I'll be making a post this week, but we are looking to hire a full time fabricator just to build our turbo manifolds. If any of you know someone who is CAPABLE, feel free to have them email their resume to spdbydesign@gmail.com

Needless to say, I've been beyond frustrated at the pace of bring this product to market, as I've NEVER had any project drag on this long.

It's been a learning lesson.

My cell is 405-309-9723. Don't hesitate to call, as I don't log-on here daily or even weekly, only as I have something to share....

Back on topic.

If you have vendor feedback do it in the appropriate section created specifically for this purpose. Any further derailing of the thread is going to be deleted and result in infractions.

I feel I owe you all an explanation for my absence.

For now, I'll simply say I'm disappointed in the way the project has gone with the car.

We picked up the car from Fathouse about two weeks ago, where it's been for a little over 2 years. I simply couldn't wait any longer, as I've lost so much money on this project I am literally sick to my stomach.

The car was immediately taken to Lund Racing and they are working to fix the issues and get the car back to running correctly. I am indebted for them agreeing to take the car sight unseen.

I'm somewhat numb, as I've spent six figures on the car, the build with quality parts, the production of hard parts for the turbo kits and still don't have a running car or properly functional kit to show for it.

It's been a gut check.

Jon Lund has been incredibly patient and has documented the issues with the car, along with his steps to repair it. Bills continue to escalate, but I hope in a few weeks the car will finally be ready to come home to OKC.

In regards to those of you who left deposits, I will 100% return your deposits this week. I'll tack on a little interest, as this forum has been out of sight, out of mind for quite some time.

If anyone would like to contact me directly, my cell is 405-309-9723. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.

My Best,

Chris

Thanks!

Lund said he was sourcing the lines, so glad to hear you're onboard

I need to get with you & other turbo kit companies to see if you guys would be interested in our Billet FMIC.

I have (50) here instock ready to ship, which I've been sitting on for quite some time.

Hard piping & intecooler piping are proprietary due to the manifold design chosen, so I'm planning to eat that cost. Perhaps we can find a way to repurpose the bends, etc.

He said it was for you, so I had no problem taking care of it.

Call me tomorrow and let's chat.

Thanks,

I pulled records this morning and it appears there are (6) of you awaiting a refund of your deposit at present. You should expect to see these funds credited back into your Paypal account within the hour.

There was only one customer that for some reason Paypal would not allow me to refund too, Ken Garner, so I will be sending you an email about sending you a paper check today by mail.

The rest of you should have your refund now + 20% interest for your trouble.
