Ok so this is a quick review of what I saw.
First off, as everyone else has said, pictures DO NOT do this car justice. There is just a depth to the masculinity of this car that can't be captured in pictures. It looks far more aggressive and muscular in person. It is an amazing looking car. Some say it looks smaller, and I partially agree. However IMO it also looks bigger, you can see the difference in width. It is just less "chunky" than the S197. Think of it kinda like a Tight-end vs a Receiver in football.
The Ruby Red GT: was an Premium automatic w/ out the 12 spkr shaker, blis and acc. Also without the Premier trim package. The wheels it had were the same ones Robinson02 has on his car, which also look much better in person than in photo's. They are actually a pretty nice wheel. Ruby red looks amazing as well, anyone on the fence about getting it, honestly if you're leaning towards Ruby Red, just get it. You won't be disappointed one bit. It's just an awesome color and shows the lines of the car really well.
I know it's been confirmed already, but the upper portions of the door is hard plastic w/out the premier trim. Although not really much of a bad thing IMO, it's not a "tinny" feeling plastic, it feels quality and solid.
The seats feel pretty nice, they give you a nice cozy feel because of the aggressive bolstering. (I am about 5'8" and 160lbs to give you an idea of size) However as others have mentioned the bolstering in the seat bottom isn't very firm. If you can find a way to get some stiffer foam in there, it would be a very nice OEM seat that you could occasionally track or autocross. I am not sure how the current firmness of the seat bolstering will handle extremely spirited driving. It didn't feel quite as firm as my GTI's bolstering, although I wasn't able to give it a direct comparison there. I haven't been in my GTI in months. It has probably already been mentioned but the Coupes have the same Coat hook on the back of the seat as have been seen on the convertible.
Push start is extremely easy to operate and very responsive. Hold the brake and push to start, for startup. Then Push again for off. Accessing the accessories is really simple as well. Don't touch the brake lol and push the button.
Ok now my primary disappointment with the car. The seat cooling function. I know several members have confirmed it works for both the seat bottom and the seat back. However I could not feel a single bit of difference of temperature on the seat back. I used my hand as a gauge. The seat bottom gets nice a cool, while the seat back seems to not do anything. I have no reason to doubt the other members who have confirmed this does work on their vehicle, but it didn't work on this model. I don't know if it works better with the Premier trim option or if some of the seats have a defect which if so, I hope gets discovered and fixed.
The Black GT: was a base model with the foundry wheels. No recaro's or PP. I only spent a short time on this model as I only wanted to see what the new mustang looked like in black and see what the base interior looked like. I didn't pay enough attention to notice if it was a manual or not. I think it was an auto.
S550 in Black...once again pictures don't do this color justice. Black doesn't hide the lines at all. At least in sunlight, it might if its dark or cloudy but honestly (as someone who didn't like the pictures of the car in black much at all) it looks great in Black. Oh yea and this is my opinion with the car being quite dirty. It looked like it was just pulled off the delivery truck, it will only look better clean
The interior... ok simply put it is a base interior. Honestly that is the best and most honest way to describe this interior. Don't expect much. It's not necessarily bad, it looks fine and is plenty liveable; it's just not impressive to say the least. The base radio is pretty cheap looking, however the buttons feel solid and of good quality. So IMO the Base interior is still a very quality interior material wise, but it's styling is quite lacking. All the money set aside for the base interior was put into how everything felt when pressed and definitely not into how it looked lol.
Now onto the overall quality and fitment of the two vehicles I saw. To make this short. I saw issues on both cars, all ones previously pointed out in other threads. However they are not as noticeable in person as you have seen in these forums in pictures. I saw all the issues I brought up to Zombie on both of these cars with addition to a minor trunk alignment issue and other minor fender alignment. But, honestly Most of it is nitpicking, as like I said it's not very noticeable and you pretty much have to be looking for it to really notice. The only issue that I might reject the car for is the Hood. As others have mentioned, the hood can be VERY hard to close. You have to use a lot of force to close it. You can't just slam it down and expect it to close. It took several attempts to close. I wound up having to place my hand in the front center of the hood and slamming it shut. Also, it's alignment does bother me, not only did this model (the RR) have one of the sides raised, it was also kind of twirked and not an even misalignment. The black model had much better alignment btw. I don't remember if I looked at the trunk but the hood was pretty good. It was maybe a little off, but not as bad as the RR. The hoodline crease alignment is off on every single car i've seen (where the style hood lines meet the corners of the front bumper fender) Please look in Zombie's thread for my post if you are curious about this and what I mean. I can link it if you request it. So to me that means it's more of a mold thing, however it's not very noticeable. Honestly I don't know how I feel about it. It probably won't bother me enough to reject the car. It's just a slight annoyance.
Sorry I didn't mean to go on a tangent about the alignment and i don't want my comments to take away from how this car looks, like i said I'm really nitpicking here. The car looks amazing, and I will be a happy owner as long as adjusting the hood latch fixes any minor alignment issues in the hood and it doesn't take a ridiculous amount of effort to close the hood.
So in summary: I am very impressed with this car. Both quality, styling, comfort and size. For me to even think of getting rid of my car when I get it would require chevy to hit an absolute Grand Slam with the new Camaro with more than just performance. Because in person I just like the Mustang that much more. I still like the camaro, but Mustang is just a much better car. I just don't see the Camaro checking all the boxes for me like the Mustang does. Sorry I didn't take any pictures because all I had was my phone and any positives and negatives with the car have already been shown in other pictures in the forum. I couldn't add anything to this review by showing any pictures of this car, that just simply would do it no justice. There is no point in it.
Any questions, just ask. I didn't drive it, as it impressed me so much initially I didn't care to press the issue with the sales guy. I also didn't want him to try and "sell" me the car, so I just let them know I already had a car on order. I mentioned how much I got my car for and they didn't even seem remotely interested in trying to get a sale from me. Of course I will test drive my car though.
Another note...the exhaust: It sounds nice and throaty. However it is quite muted as others have mentioned.
Ford hit a multi-base home run with this car.
Edit: Oh yea and one other thing i didn't like about it. It's really such a minor thing. The 5.0 engine cover is just cheap looking. I don't like it one bit. Probably the only thing that looks better in pictures than it does IRL.
Another positive is that the steering wheel does feel quite small. Never spent any time with an s197 to compare, but it is a very nice size.
