I read from somewhere that there are about 58 Base models ordered (don't know if it is accurate). I guess is it very rare... But I kind of want the 2017 model... I feel the need for trans/ diff coolers... Too late...
The guy doing a registry shows 100ish so far IIRC. I think its far from complete. That said, it will be rarer than the R.

They should of had packages like this from the get go, but for the people who waited looks like patience paid off.

Base price will go up.... inflation, increase costs, and new MY, etc... it's the norm in the car industry.

The 1LE isn't due until late in the year, according to Chevy.
It will be in showroom floors in the fall, but pricing and ordering will be available late spring/early summer.

The 1LE will be less than $45K all said and done, I dont think Ford will care what the 1LE price is and could never price this new offering near that. It will likely be $10K more in this new base form.

If you want the FPC, you pay the price.

Like the new option packages and colors. Looks like Ford was listening to some of the comments on this forum! The 350 in Ruby Red will look great.

So are they adding more speakers? What's the 2016 tech pack number of speakers?

It's pretty close in hue to Liquid Blue. It will be offered on the Escape as well.

Well, dang it. It will be easier at this point to order a '17 and trade/sell my '16 than add the coolers and also open up the ability to retain the Recaros, but really I'm on the fence about that one. Tech seats are just so comfortable and held me in just as well as the Recaros would've without a harness. Bigger thing would be the ability to use the harness with them.

And yeah, I'm very into those blues.

I just can't see $10K more in base form considering the track package was a $6,500 add on. I'm hoping they split the difference and add $3K or $4K, I'd be completely fine with that myself but I'd be more happy with less.

The sub $50k base was just first year marketing hype. The base price will be the current Track Pack price.
This will likely be correct. It's possible they could reduce component costs on the coolers now that they're making more volume and come in at a slight discount. My personal guess on this is $55,795 base price.

I definitely wouldn't view this as a price increase. If they raise the base price past $58k, then it would be.

2016 tech was still 9 speakers

biggest thing now is you can get hte coolers and a full blown tech pack or you can get the main features of the tech pack and recaros

2016 tech was advertised as a 7 speaker system I thought.
