I see quite a few people installing a few different pieces along with the CB005 and so it made me wonder - is installing the CB005 by itself enough to make a big improvement in wheel hop?

Yes. Roughly about an 80% reduction I'd say, and also a lot more solid and connected feeling powering out of corners.

600hp, MT82 trans and stock Pirellis! Oh my!!

Ken from PBD installed our CB005 and SP080 springs on his Whipple car and has given me EXCELLENT feedback!

He told me that he can now apply more power to the tune up with the CB005 and Springs on the car, which is AWESOME and just shows how good these parts truly are.

Jeremiah Stotler won some classes this weekend with some of our parts, to include the CB005 ;)

Not only are the road course guys tearing it up with the CB005, but so are the street/strip weekend warriors!

Ricky Shifflett just drove his car to the track and ripped off some mid-low 1.3 sixties with no NVH with our CB005. ;)

Add-ons to CB005

:headbang:I recently added the CB006 to my road course build and it really helps my turn-in. I am a Medical tech and in the field drive 80 mile round trip 3 days a week in chicanes & S-curves thru 75 mph coastal Hwys here in Texas, BMR delivers the "Handling Performance" R/T style!!

I plan on buying these tomorrow, but have a quick question. Can I install these with my Steeda Rear IRS Subframe Braces?

Thanks,
Phill

You cannot use the front arms with the subframe braces. Either or. You can buy the lite version without them if you retain the braces.

Thanks. Does anyone have any first hand experience with both?
I have a few customers who use our CB005 without the front locating arms.

Due to the fact that their brace is popular, AND convertibles cannot use the CB005 Kit - we came out with our CB010 Level 1 kit that we feel is the best mod of it's kind.

Our CB005 without the front arms, or CB010 kit....works so well, I cannot recommend adding additional non BMR components to the system. I mean, it will not hurt - but I do not see the purpose.

Thanks. I placed my order for the CB005 and will give it a go.

I'm stuck. Somehow this shit can never go smoothly for me. Had trouble on the drivers side front cradle bolt, getting it lined up without stripping it. Finally got it figured out so front and back bolts on the driver's side were good. Moved over to passenger side. Rear bolt lined up fine, but for the life of me I cannot get the front bolt to line up. I've pried, i've loosened all bolts, I've raised and lowered the cradle. At this point, I've pulled the rear bolts on both sides, but not the front bolt on the driver's side cause it took me forever to get it in.

Sounds like my typical installs ... you've done everything I did but in the end I took a break for lunch and when I went back to it, it mysteriously went easy. Take a break.

Someone said releasing the parking brake helped although I can't see how but ya never know. Good luck man.

I've now got a creak so not even sure it was worth it to be honest.
