True and not at the same time. When I see the word sport or GT on a minivan it doesn't convince me that those people are having as much fun driving as I do. Same with millions of other 4 door commuter cars on the road.

Mustangs are special - there is no doubt about that. Doesn't matter what engine or what year. They all stand out on the road as cars that are better than the norm.

Didn't wash it for 2 months.
Left it stranded in the garage during the hurricane while I was in California.
Eat chocolate in the car.
Park on crushed concrete everyday at work.
Got a Viper Alarm installed (for when I'm not parking in the garage).
Broke the ABS module.
Dropped a socket and extension between the fender and battery. (Been there for a month).

Says someone that spends time on a forum dedicated to it. :headbonk:

:D
I spend time on forums for many cars. Altima, Civic, Escort, Mustang, Mach1, SVT, J-body....

My top 3 mustang sins:

1- I drive a V6
2- I like it
3- I feel pretty cool driving it

And to Cleveranickname....I dont wave at V8 owners because last time I did....the douche felt the need to look at the side of my car to search for the 5.0 badge, didnt see it so he proceeded to give me a forced nod, chuckled, then revved his engine before turning. I'm just like lol ok, no more waving at people.

When driving in DD mode I drive like a grandma (I have another DD car). When I'm on the track I abuse her like we're having make up sex.

When I fire it up in the parking garage after the oil circulates for a second I rev it out to set off all the car alarms. It works like a charm. You can hear it for blocks...

Lastly, during the fires, I let it sit in the garage until the rains came. when I went to look at it it was covered in ash inside the garage. :(

That's pretty much it...

My sin back in the 80s was replacing my first 5.0 without any options (no radio, A/C, roll up windows, etc.) with a loaded 5.0 automatic. Back in those days only girly-boys drove those and at car shows I would hide my shame in the regular parking lot and hoped nobody noticed. I always had to explain why I got it. Now that I’m back all the rivalry is quite nostalgic and like coming home - but only because I drive a lot of cars and been around the block. Last night I was breaking in another 6 cylinder - 350 horses and 1,150 of torque - a “real truck” motor! Real truck guys are the best and you will see them helping each other out merging into traffic and such, just a totally different vibe. Performance cars are changing faster than you know. What are you old school guys going to do when they bring in the super light one piece wheels to replace those heavy
/clumsy “frying pan” rims you guys love so much. Change is inevitable but Mustang is a brand now. But the future cars will be way different and not so far in the future.

What a jive move by that guy. I've only ever had one Mustang person wave to me before and it was someone in an EcoBoost. Totally caught me off guard because it was the first time it happened but I gladly waved back.

The type of person that would do what you described is the exact type of person that gives Mustang drivers a bad rap.

That type of person also thinks he/she is better than everyone else. On a few occasions, I've seen that type of behavior from someone trying to impress a girlfriend or friend. I think it's funny, especially when they get knocked down a peg or two.

I have a Jeep Wrangler but I take the Mustang on camping trips now days because the driving part of the trip is way more fun in the muscle car. Between me and the GF the car is packed like a moving truck.

1. Burned my headliner trying to ash a cig out the window. Filled it in with black sharpie. I'm vaping now.

2. Rev matching to scare people. I once rev matched on a left hand turn (totally wasn't trying to show off) and the car in front of me actually pulled out of my way. From that point on, I just push the clutch in and let her rip just to see people's faces

A note about thumbs up: I've never had a problem with it. I've had GT guys respect my car and nod. I mean I understand the pecking order, but Mustangs are a dime a dozen around here so if you have one that is modified or done up nice, it doesn't really matter what trim it is, car guys/girls show respect. That is one thing I like about the car scene in this part of the country.

There's some sap/residue on my passenger door that has been there for over a week that I haven't had time to bring to the car wash and get removed... It's killing me.

I've drilled so many holes and cut up so many OEM parts for my mods and it doesn't bother me.

It is always parked on the street.

Theres several long scratches on the glove box that I don't usually look at so I dont plan on fixing.

When I see someone with their window down I accelerate/downshift so they can hear the beautiful sound of my rocket lifting off into outer space (just about what it sounds like, Lol).

I rent a small room, actually just a finished off attic, so that I can afford this car which I have spent around $80k on. Haters gonna hate

The 2018 Mustang GT Wing. This is a sin. This is not a Subaru.
