I'll bet that Ford has kept the exhaust sound issue in mind as regards the 2.3ltr. I wouldn't jump off the bridge just yet.

May be true but I bet they wouldn't be revving it for people if that was the I4. It should sound a little better than the Focus/Fiesta.

:lol: I figured it wasn't the 2.3 turbo. I'm just betting that Ford will massage the exhaust note on the FI engine so it won't sound like my s/o's Singer.

I'm very happy that all the cackling from the 11-14 is gone, it'll sound very good with aftermarket exhaust.
