My Velgen wheels are pretty flush in the rear and I'm running a 5 mm spacer in the front.
What size tires are you planning on running that you want it to poke out so much?

The standard fitment is

20x9 et 32
20x10.5 et 45

If you want a more aggressive setup then do the following

12 mm upfront
15 mm rear

Adjust rear camber to -2.2 or so

Front tires 275/35/20 is better suited

The offsets offered for S550 platform is 32mm front 45mm rear. Depending on drop and tire size the wheels sit flush. If you are looking for poke then yes you can run a spacer. We never recommend spacers but have had people run them with no issues, Then you have a few that have run them and the car vibrates like if they're going offroading in a derby.
Spacer size is really going to be your preference as far as how far out you want to bring the wheel. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do.

I have these same Velgen wheels and I'm now running Michelin Pilot Super Sports, 275/35/20s in the front and 295/35/20s in the rear.

The rears are very much flush. The fronts could stand to come out a bit, but I'm leery of putting spacers on the car just to get the front tires to poke out a bit more.

Paul -

Would the OEM studs need to be trimmed for 15mm or 20mm hub centric spacers with the Velgen VMB7s (20 x 9 on the front), or do the Velgens have cut outs that will accept/swallow the OEM studs since the OEM studs will poke out past flush on the face of the spacers?

I'm considering Eibach spacers to poke my front tires out a bit, but I don't want to have to trim the OEM studs.

I could take one of my front wheels/tires off and look for myself I suppose, but I'm thinking you know b/c you're the wheel/tire Guru.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Thanks.

Thanks, Danny. Sounds like there are cut outs in the back of the wheels that the ends of the OEM studs could fit into. And whether spacers will work without having to trim the length of the OEM studs will depend on how much the OEM studs stick out past the face of the spacers.
