I know some of you guys are from around the area.

I plan to be there July 13th - July 16th?

Does anyone know any hidden gems/not to expensive hotels.

I usually stay at the MGM but I figured I'd ask on here since I know you may have some good insight.

Thank you for the help!

I've always had decent stays at Planet Hollywood. It tends to be cheaper and its mid-strip for easy access.

Pro tip: Only use cash outside of the hotel. If you want to save the most money, stay in North Vegas and use an Uber or rent a car. Taxis and the strip are expensive. Don't be afraid to Gamble, after all it is Vegas!

Been there a few times, I usually don't go anywhere other than the Strip & Old Vegas.

I was wanting to explore a few different places than I have in the past.

I usually stay at the MGM but with AirBNB being pretty affordable and also a group for a Bachelor Party, I thought I'd ask since I'm sure others have been there more than me.

IF you've been there a few times, that is more than me.

Can you post up the answers you search for when you find them?

Wasn't attempting to be cocky in my comments if you took offense, my apologies.

Just wanting to expand my horizons there is all and not go to the same five places or so I usually go too.

OK, my .02$ on Vegas! first think of where you want to gamble? it's will dictate your hotel prices and the amount of fun you want to have. you want to play 5$ craps tables? 25$ craps tables? you want fun people? you want A hole snobs? I personally LOVE 5$ craps tables on the strip... I really like the Excalibur, 50-60$/night. yea it's not the best place to stay, the people are real and it's a fun time. and you can get a 3$ breakfast sandwich. and parking is easy in and out. It's a 10min walk form all the expensive places. you want swanky? and 8$ Starbucks crap? you'll pay. I've done 600$/night suits and it WAS great, but the $50-60$pp buffet was silly! and they soak you for everything in the spa and night clubs, fun for a newbie(once). But stay at a cheap place, bounce around and see all the other places. I smoke so i they put those people, believe it or not at the top floor(smoking) on the excalibur.... facing the red rock mountains! best 44$/night view i've ever had!

Have a GREAT time!! Play those silly CRAPS electronic machines!! Best gamble in town and free drinks. I get on those and make a killing!! Every casino has ONE for a reason. It's the best bet in the house. spend 1-2 hours on youtube learning to play, and you will LOVE it!!! Stay away form crappy bets, those machines have .4% house advantage... hence there is only 1! at the cheaper casino's min bet is 1-2$. you goto the bellagio.. 5-10$ min bet on electronics craps is bull shit! cheap casino's... $1-2 on a fri/sat night, but they are packed, get there early or off hours.
