Got the 2 Day shipping on the mounts but it wont be here until Monday. Damn.

Now have to make the decision to put everything in and do the mounts later or wait another week or two and do it all at once...

Mounts are pretty easy after and don't require you to do anything but take the shock off. I'd say do the rest this weekend and mounts when you get them.

Hmm I was planning to get a gt350 strut tower brace next, or should I add mounts to mine? Which would get get first?

Depends on what you want. Both do entirely different things, but both should be on the must have list. The strut tower brace sharpens the front end response pretty substantially. The mounts improve ride quality by quite a bit.

Do I have the right part number for the GT350R front spring? I was looking at levit town ford using the part number FR3Z-5310-M and it returned a price of $25.61. I'm assuming that is for one, but even if I ordered two that doesn't seem right.

There is no image, just says:
Manufacturer: Ford
Part Number: FR3Z-5310-M
Part: Spring - Front

Just wanted to check as I am getting ready to place an order for a couple parts and that seems too low to me.

It is correct, it's just a production part so $25.00/each

Yep, that's it. The rears are a bit more expensive. The rears (fr3z-5560-x) are about $75-80 each.

Thank you both. I was expecting more along the lines of the rears at 80 or so. This seemed like a steal - lol.

I've really been enjoying the 350R springs. Took them out for a spirited drive last night and they handled amazingly. I also added a GT350R strut tower brace this weekend. I was surprised how well they handle for daily driving. They're not as harsh as I expected, and actually take the bumps better than my stock GT springs did. I'm guessing some of that is due to the Koni's though.

I was playing with some GT350R and some prototypes, etc.

I gave up and put a 300lb spring on double adjustable Viking shocks and yup......it is exactly what I wanted.

300lb/in Front Coilover and the 980lb/in BMR Rear Spring....Yes, Yes please.

If re-using stock pp rears, are the 085's too stiff?

I have to replace my strut bearing thing that sits on the spring. I'm going to get R front springs, do I need the gt350 "bearing" thing or just a stocker?

Use the stock PP strut mount.

Supposedly the GT350R rear rates are 914 lb/in, but Vorshlag's testing showed 890 in the working range of the spring. You need to look at the wheel rates, which is the effective rate at the tire, taking into account the motion ratio (wheel to spring, which is approx 0.48). WR = (MR^2)*spring rate.

The difference in wheel rates between GT350R and SP085 are not huge, but are enough to be noticed (226 lb/in vs 205). Stock PP rear is 168 lb/in.

What's meant by balance is this: the GT350R front wheel rate is 231 lb/in, SP085 are 226 lb/in. That's very balanced and very near the difference in weight distribution front to rear as well, which is imporant for the roll stiffness distribution. It also gives an excellent front/rear ride frequency ratio for ride (see page 10 in the spring rates thread).
Has this combo been discussed yet?
GT350 fronts @194#
BMR SP088 rears @800#

800*0.23 = 184# (95% of the front rate)

Could be a little more forgiving as a daily than the R/Handling springs.

BmacIL did you say the R front spring drops around 3/4"?
BMR claims -1/2" in the rear for their drag spring (SP088).
