DJI Phantom imo. Easy for beginners to learn on and master. Then step up to the pro drones. Watch for the phantom 3's to go on serious sale since 4 just got announced this week.

I just upgraded from a phantom 1 (had it for over 2 years with a gopro 3 and 4) to an inspire 1 pro (with zenmuse x5 4k camera) this week.... mind blown....

*obligatory post my video from my new drone that I just made* lol

I would recommend the 3DR solo. It is on par with the DJI phantom 2/3. It does require a separate GoPro for the camera but those can be found for pretty cheap too. Best but was running great specials on them in the fall and it was $400 with a carry case, gimbal, extra props and battery.

I've been into FPV quads for some time, I love the experience.
I recently picked up a DJI Mavic Pro. It's easy to fly and takes great video.
Almost too easy to fly with GPS and stability...easy
