Selling my Tesla head unit. Sync3 is now installed in my car.
This is a gen 1, so the "brain" is not built into the unit, its mounted where the stock CD player goes. Being a gen 1, you are also able to modify the boot screen with ease. The factory screen protector is still on the unit. I've replaced the green LEDs with white LEDs, and put a blue-green film behind the buttons, so they light up close to the rest of the cars interior color (you could replace the film for whatever color you want). The LED on the AC button does not work, I messed up the solder pad. The button works fine though, and this LED would only light if you had the AC on (the units screen tells you the AC is on). This unit actually improves the base units sound, I will greatly miss it that. I will also include the WiFi antenna extender which vastly improves WiFi connectivity. Its my understanding that the Gen2 unit has an internal antenna that is poor and cannot be extended.
$440 shipped! Had to replace the original RCA connector for the backup camera, the original was broken.
Custom boot screen. I will remove this before shipping.
