My half shaft finally broke

I have a stock pp and finally broke the driver side half shaft. My best time in the 1/4 was 12.7 at 109 with a 1.8 60ft on Hoosier slicks. The halfshaft broke while using nt555r on the second pass of the night.

How many runs before it broke? What RPM do you launch? I'm sure the sticky tires helped things along.

I've done at least 15 runs on the track. I would launch at around 4.5k on the slicks when it broke I was launching at 3 on a nitro 555r drag radial.

To much prep on the track maybe

Yeah it was pretty good it was at street car takeover.

I broke my driver side one this weekend. Car has been 11.6-11.7 a dozen or so times (275/50/17 M&H radial), finally broke on the 1-2 shift, previous pass was a 1.647 sixty foot.
