Originally wanted a TT, but back in 2015, the stage 2 Whipple w OEM grade tuning seemed like the safest sure thing so thats what got bolted on.
Would still highly recommend Whipple, but am very interested in a TT.
Question is... how to get there?

Pull Whipple and sell it and just TT the 15?
Sell car and start from scratch?
Pull Whipple to sell and trade car in on 2018?

2018 direct injection with 12:1 compression should be a freakn monster to TT.
Whipple is already working on 2018, so must be a TT 18 in the works somewhere?

White 15 base Auto, PP brakes, 19x11 square (front fenders look stock but pushed out 1") 305 MPSS, 10qt GT350 pan and pump, MMR TG, TSS OPG, Whipple stage 2, Reische 170 tstat, 12k miles, needs nothing

boostworks makes a twin kit for a GM LT1 motor with an 11.5:1 CR. 12:1 isnt that far off, honestly.

and we have no idea because no one has done it yet. until the car goes into production and someone grabs one, we wont know.

Whats a Whippled 15 worth? $30k?
thats not the point i was trying to make.

yeah a whippled 15 or KB 15 is about $30-$32 depending on options and extras.

id sell my car right now to someone if they showed up with $35k cash.

FWIW, when i was looking the cheapest FI GT i saw was 36k. unless you have a shitload of miles or something i think 30k is selling yourself short. now I'm guessing some of these folks don't get their ridiculous prices(multiple at 40k or above), but who knows

Tuning an 18 is going to be a monster. The PCM, software and cals are very different and far more complexed. Making major changes like TT is going to be a huge issue for sometime. Guys will get it but remember it took most 1 year to tune these correctly, will take longer on the new ones.

Our new kit has an entirely new supercharger and is a very different kit, but will be making 775RWHP through the auto on 93 octane.

I know people argue about the turbo placement causing heat issues for the hellion kit, but really it seems to be the only sure way of getting a TT kit. IMO it looks like a great product and turbo blankets are cheap, improve turbo performance, and reduce engine bay heat. I'd say enjoy your current whipple or switch to a hellion kit if you must change. Then go with the 2018 once hellion comes out with a kit and tunning is sorted out as you'll be ready for another change by then. I'm sure a 2018 whippled GT with 10 speed auto is going to be great also.

I was really hoping my next mustang will be a GT 500(Supercharged or TT).

I would even consider selling both my GT's( Hellion/built auto/sleeved 5.2 and KB/built Magnum/Sleeved 5.2)

Not sure now when or if that will ever happen.

If not, then a Whipple charged 18 variant will be the next best thing(and closest to OEM) especially with the 10 speed auto/DI/increased compression.I may even be able to keep the built GT's and have a real stable!

It would definitely stop the itch to throw a Whipple on my GT 350.

And another reference to 775(or was it 755??)
I know I would be very happy with that

2018 is all new kit due to DI injectors and hood line. Also we've developed a new supercharger for this that is pretty powerful.

11-17 kit has some new enhancements coming soon.
Are the previous 15 kits gona be upgradable with these new enhancements?

Hello. If you choose to go TT, we offer a full slate of options to meet any need you have. We have all 2015-2017 Vehicles covered, and the 2018 will be coming soon. Our twin turbo system will be best option for the higher compression builds as the turbo doesn't load the engine to the level that a belt driven supercharger does. We have had amazing rear tire horsepower results from our high compression GT350 systems.

Please let us know if you have any questions or if we can help in any way.
