The filter that u changed, does it look like a sock style filter or cartridge filter??
I didn't change a filter, I just examined and tore apart both hats. The stock GT filter is a permanently sealed canister filter that also houses the pressure bypass.

Eric Naumann is one of the few people I know that have used the GT350 external filter, I believe he has the part number. I don't know his username on here but he is pretty easy to find on FB.

I built my own. I'm honestly not worried given the design of the hat and the style of pre-filter used on these pumps.

GT500- 2 Delphi T23 pumps
GT350- 2 Delphi T23 pumps
GT - 1 Delphi T23 pump
That is great information. I may try to piece my own together and add a filter.

I quickly out grew my GT350 pumps so I don't plan to be running them much longer. The new system will be running a filter as I will be going with -8 feed lines and it makes it much easier to incorporate.

If you piece together a GT350 kit there is the factory filter part. I will try to get the number this evening and post it in here.

Are you going to build a new system or just buy a complete system from FORE?

The part # is FG 1083 for the GT500 and GT350 fuel filters...

I'll be building a system using most of the parts I have already. Just need a hat and feed line. I considered trying to flow test a triple pumps setup using all OEM pumps but it would be a PITA due to the output design of the stock pumps and the design of almost all of the aftermarket hats. I'll probably just end up with some DW400's.

Does this mean the GT 350 has enough pump for 850 on E85 ?
IIRC lethal had a BAP on their Whippled GT 350 that made low 800's on E85

Just a note to guys using Sai Li fuel system .. I was wanting to add a aftermarket filter to my Sai Li system and while looking for a good place to splice into the line I found a problem .. The fuel line he uses looks to be a very good hose and is also rated for E85 ...BUT my fuel lines by the engine to the Regulator are as hard as a rock and the hose is showing cracks ( splits ) in the hoses going to the regulator ..My guess is this is due to the heat in the engine bay ..I'm going to have to replace the line running back to the tank and when I do it going to get some kind of heat wrap in the engine bay .. I have not talked to Sai about this yet but I will shortly ..

Just talked to Sai .. we are going to replace the hose and add some heat wrapping to the line ..

I made 850 with them and DW95’s without a BAP and my buddy made 816 through an auto with the same pumps and ID1050x.

You need hoses like these, teflon core, braided stainless with nylon braided outer layer. They will survive engine bay heat and e85 use. These are the lines I am including in a fuel system coming out soon...

To the OP, you will want to replace the OEM feed line to easily add a in line filter under the car. You can try adding one in the engine bay pre rail if you have the room and use your own hoses where the OEM quick connect is

Bring that fuel setup out to cars n coffee austin?
Or somewhere else?
In Austin and looking at fueling issues.
Need tank mat pickup support for road course use.

I may go to C&C, haven’t decided yet, haven’t gone since that day the cops were pulling people for 1mph over limit.

Tommy V and I are thinking about piecing together a fuel system using new fuel lines, with a filter and the GT350 sump. I know there are a few ssites that sell PFTE line fairly cheap. We will have to buy an adapter to convert outlet of GT350 sump to PTFE line. It will be interesting to test the limits of stock rails and GT350 pumps with larger feed lines.

That's how I did it on my kit. Ran my own AN feed and return, mine is 6AN though(8AN is easily do-able), it will support about as much as the pumps can. You can always BAP them to get a little more out of them too. Second pump can be wired to activate off of a Hobbs switch as well.
