Signature help needed

I am trying to add this picture to my signature and it will not take. I have tried photobucket and ImageShack with no luck. It will however let me add it here!

WHAT I AM TRYING TO ADD

No one can tell me how to fix this?

I uploaded my sig picture direct from my computer and didn't have to go through Photobucket or other pic hosting site. Just select option 2 when you are in Edit Signature.

Also, make sure you check the size of the image since there is a size limit.

As is usually the case, size matters. The only reason it wouldn't take it is because the size of whatever type of file format you are trying to upload is too big. So the good news is...you're too big. Could be the other way around and you're too small so think of it as a good thing!

Click on in this order, your profile, customize profile, edit signature, option 2 "choose file", upload then save signature.

You can't use some of those hosting websites for signatures on forums because they block hotlinking due to bandwidth usage. Best to just upload it directly to the forum using Braski's instructions above.

Does anyone know how to make the picture smaller on a iPad?

The pic in your first post is 449px by 103px. The maximum for a signature is 600px by 120 px, so the size is fine. To upload via the iPad, do this:

1. Go to the first message you posted the picture in on this thread. Press and hold until you see the context menu. Select "Save Image..."

2. Go to your profile options page, Signature section

3. In the "Upload Signature Picture" section, click "Choose File"

4. Select "Photo Library"

5. Select "All Photos"

6. Select the image you downloaded

7. Click "Upload"

8. In your signature box, type [sigpic][/sigpic] where you want the image

9. Beer

Can anyone help. I follow this order exactly and my wanted sig pic is below allowed size and yet no pic shows. Am I missing something to allow this........

Do they have to get approved or something before they can be seen as I can see it in preview in the sig control panel.???
