Re-Stall Stock Converter

Anyone re-stalled their stock converter? If so, how much more stall were you able to get out of it? I'm making 850rwhp and looking for about 1000rpm more and not sure if it can be done with the stock size. $400 for a re-stall or 3x that for a new Circle D. It's not a race car and I daily drive the car in the summer.

If you're planning to do the work yourself, its not too bad of an expense, but I believe its a bit short of 1000rpm more. If you're paying for labor, I would suggest grabbing a circle D and doing it once. Let me know if you're interested in the Circle D.

1700ish, not entirely sure.

do yourself a favor...buy a circle d!!! I have a 5c in my daily driver and although its just a mild bolt on car... i dropped 6 tenths just from the stall alone.....
