I recall people paid $10K ADM's for '07 GT500's......very, very few production cars hold value, much less appreciate. '05/'06 Ford GT is an exception but that was really not a "production" car.

That being said, if GT350R total production ends-up being lower than the +/- 4K Ford GT's built, they well could be the next car to see six figure appreciation in coming years...I, personally doubt it but had I known 12 years ago what I know now, I would have sold everything to buy a Ford GT that was marketed locally at $10K off MSRP.....

WHile I would lover that, I'm not going to bet on it... The R is rare-ish and certainly special but the Ford GT was a very different animal.

It should have been ordered with a black roof. Some like the no stripes thing (I get it), but definitely if you go the no stripes route, you have to get the black roof.

Couldn't agree more. And I'm in the "gotta have stripes on a Shelby" crowd, but if I wasn't I would just peel the stripes off and call it a day. Ordering one that's not sold w/o them kind of limits the buyers IMO.

Asking $25K over is certainly "aggressive" also.

Mark up is way too high imo. Owners there don't want to listen to me though haha.
