First timer here ... Can anyone tell me if it's possible to custom order a 2017 Ecoboost Premium in Deep Impact Blue? I know it's discontinued after 2016, but can it be special ordered? Thx!

There are still lots of 2016's out on lots across the country. You may luck out and find the car you want is already built. Sadly ford's online search tool is quite limited. You'll probably have to take your config to a dealer and have them search. But be prepared for them to come back with cars that will be compromises.

Sporty car newbie, Mustang newbie, custom-ordering newbie, here to share wailing and waiting and nailbiting. This forum has been a great resource for me, so thank you to all who maintain it.

What day did you order it? I've got nothing back from the dealer yet. I ordered 5/18.

I ordered on 5/9. I haven't heard from the dealer but I have a good family friend who controls Ford's testing facilities and he was able to look it up and provide the information. Car went into the system with a VIN number about two weeks ago.

Call you dealer. You should have a VIN and potentially a build date by now.

I've been in contact almost every day. I even reached out to the person on here named FordService and I haven't been able to get any answers.

I havent either from FordService and i ordered before you and got the best priority you can get and i still have zero news.

Im calling my dealer on Tuesday i guess

Just talked to my dealer 5/25. Ordered 4/14 and no Vin yet...

Ordered my 2017 on May 6 and got the VIN last week. FordService confirmed the estimated build date is June 16.

Holy Fuck you guys. I still don't have a vin or any info and I placed my order the middle of April.

You need to get in contact with Ford. I placed my order in early May and got a VIN a week later...
