Door handle stuck open!!

Wondering how i can fix this? Took off the handle to vinyl wrap and now when i open the door it sticks in the open position. I have to push it back in order for it to return back

You need to adjust the rod on the inside. the clip may have slipped and that will keep your door handle from functioning properly. It is a common issue around since 05.

Correct. My passenger handle would stick open after a repaint I had. There is an adjustment screw.
