Project update. I got the OPGs, boss timing chain tensioners and crank gear sprocket installed. Fuel system and ID1000s are here and the ecoboost performance pack gauge pack arrives tomorrow. Now as far as FI is concerned there has been a change of plans and a Vortech JT-B has been ordered and will be headed this way soon.

Why the change in supercharger?
Ive never owned a centri before and after doing an install on a paxton car and driving that one and knowing how well the 15s react to the centris I decided I wanted to try it out.

All wrapped up. Ken Bjonnes is handling the tuning on her now and the car is currently on the 3.8 pulley with a 3.6 on the shelf standing by. So on E85 I feel like the car hits alot harder than my 12 TVS car on E85 and 8.5 psi. The 3.8 is showing right around 10-11 psi and Im spinning the car to 8k so it may be a little more boost than 10-11.

Fuel system is installed and had to snag some angled aluminum to make a mount for it and mounted it on the post the sound tube was mounted at.

Here is the intercooler and blower mounted.

This pic doesnt show the strut tower brace but its on the car now as well.

Nice!! I'm hoping for a blower later this year. Looking forward to hearing some detailed feedback on the set up.

How did you find the install in terms of ease of fitment/any McGuiver skills required?

For the most part it's straight forward. The only issue is if you've never tapped an oil pan before make sure you know someone that has. That part was a little intimidating. Also the oil feed needs a little extra attention because it's in a tight location I recommend pulling the alternator to give a little more room. If you're doing it yourself definitely take your time. Otherwise nothing major that I can think of off the top of my head.

I did have to improvise on the crank pulley puller to get the crank pulley off for the 8 rib conversion due to the stud only being 5 inches and needing about 2 1/2 more ( I can see the puns now lol)

The vortech kit is not a self contained oil head unit? Or is this an upgraded kit. I remember tapping the oil pans in the 90's on push rod motors and it was never fun.

I'm in OKC so I have E85 everywhere.

Video of a 3-4 pull while letting my friend drive. Yes I giggled lol.
