On the XXRs? No way would that "fit". I mean you could probably pull the fenders and do some crazy camber, but what's the point?315/35/20 on the rear would poke out too much huh?

Can you elaborate a bit more? I don't seem understand offsets as well as I should.. I thought offset was just the point where the offset meets the mounting point on the car. Meaning a zero offset is mid way on the wheel, positive offset is the hub pushed out toward the rim of the wheel. Negative being like deep dish wheels. These wheels are +30-33mm but don't they have a deep dish kinda look or is that just the lip making it seem like that? It's because of the offsets
A wheel grows on the inside so for instance when you go to a 10 to a 11 it grows inwards. Now offsets get lower to push the wheel further out and higher to be further in. On cast wheels a offset doesn't necessarily correlate to concaveCan you elaborate a bit more? I don't seem understand offsets as well as I should.. Mostly to fill in the fender a little better. They wont be much taller, but just enough.Aesthetically or due to the suspension dynamics ?
That works out.Mostly to fill in the fender a little better. They wont be much taller, but just enough.
Sweet can't wait to see it.Ill post pics next week after the new tires are on
I know I mentioned this in the pm for you but ill post it also.I am lowered on Eibach Pro-Kit springs (1" drop all around).
If I were to run an 18x10.5 wheel all around, is there anyway I can fill the wheel gap like OP's with a taller/meatier tire? I want the 18's for weight saving purposes.
Sorry for the noob question!
Thanks, Paul. So there is no possible way the 18 can work, even with a spacer?I know I mentioned this in the pm for you but ill post it also.
the XXR 18" wont work on the PP based on my memory because the wheel is a cast wheel it does not have enough inner barrel clearance to have the wheel slide over the massive PP caliper.
The issue is the inner barrel of the wheel ( inner barrel diameter ) the PP caliper is huge in height so the only confirmed 18" wheels that work are a few rotory forged and flow formed wheels ( besides fully forged) so no sir a spacer wont help in this case. Thanks, Paul. I'm also deciding on a wheel, so I haven't forgotten about you!
Thank you again! The issue is the inner barrel of the wheel ( inner barrel diameter ) the PP caliper is huge in height so the only confirmed 18" wheels that work are a few rotory forged and flow formed wheels ( besides fully forged) so no sir a spacer wont help in this case.
