315/35/20 on the rear would poke out too much huh?
On the XXRs? No way would that "fit". I mean you could probably pull the fenders and do some crazy camber, but what's the point?

It's because of the offsets
Can you elaborate a bit more? I don't seem understand offsets as well as I should.. I thought offset was just the point where the offset meets the mounting point on the car. Meaning a zero offset is mid way on the wheel, positive offset is the hub pushed out toward the rim of the wheel. Negative being like deep dish wheels. These wheels are +30-33mm but don't they have a deep dish kinda look or is that just the lip making it seem like that?

I ran xxr 521s on my Supra. They looked nice but after cracking 2 rims on normal daily driving I said no more China crap on my cars. They look good though just be careful on running cheap knockoff rims.

A wheel grows on the inside so for instance when you go to a 10 to a 11 it grows inwards. Now offsets get lower to push the wheel further out and higher to be further in. On cast wheels a offset doesn't necessarily correlate to concave
It's. Ur at times it doesn't if it's super high. Now on a lipped wheel we have to also factor caliper clearance or X factor as we call it. Since the CD-R wheels are not the traditional et 45 for the rear the position fits aggressive already and a 315 tire becomes difficult to put on due to the width. Typically a 10.5 et 45 with a 315 needs -2 degrees if lowered and a 10.5 et 38 with a 305 on a lowered Stang needed -2.5 degrees to work so these being even lower in offset and a even wider tire means a tone of camber if possible to just make it fit right.

Broke 2 wheels? Ive had 2 sets of xxr 521s..and i drive them hard. But, they are 18s...so maybe the extra sidewall is saving them. But ive hit some nasty stuff when taking corners. No issues here

I am lowered on Eibach Pro-Kit springs (1" drop all around).

If I were to run an 18x10.5 wheel all around, is there anyway I can fill the wheel gap like OP's with a taller/meatier tire? I want the 18's for weight saving purposes.

Sorry for the noob question!

I know I mentioned this in the pm for you but ill post it also.

the XXR 18" wont work on the PP based on my memory because the wheel is a cast wheel it does not have enough inner barrel clearance to have the wheel slide over the massive PP caliper.

Thanks, Paul. So there is no possible way the 18 can work, even with a spacer?

I'm also deciding on a wheel, so I haven't forgotten about you!

The issue is the inner barrel of the wheel ( inner barrel diameter ) the PP caliper is huge in height so the only confirmed 18" wheels that work are a few rotory forged and flow formed wheels ( besides fully forged) so no sir a spacer wont help in this case.
