With a spring compressor tho right? Not sure how else do to it
The other method would be strut assembly on the car, with a jack underneath. Depending how short your springs are it probably wouldn't be that bad. I'd just remove the strut assembly so you can see what you're doing easily though, and make sure it gets corrected.

so it appears the whole camber plate and spring were rotating..... what would cause this? the spring was seated properly on the mount but twisted big time on the bottom

Also, could this have caused any damage to anything? obviously i need new mounts, but what about the shaft and camber plate?

You have them upside down....

Flip them around and all your issues will go away.

I have seen this happen once before, so don't feel bad. Stuff happens.

Don't hesitate to hit me up if you ever need any help with anything.

Anybody who can't get more than -1.3 camber with camber plates is incompetent. Stock is -1.5. FR recomended Track Pack spec is around -1.7. Steeda plates get me to -2.5. A little grinding could easily add another 1/2 to 1 degree.
I believe stock camber for front is -1. Have mine set at -1.2 per Steeda's street (vs track) setting.
