So my BMW lease is up exactly 1 year from today, and I'm looking to replace the car. Keep in mind I already have an EB mustang. Now my three options:

1) Give BMW F30 back. Trade in EB mustang. Get an F80 M3 or M4 (2015+), or used (2009) GTR, C7, Charger Hellcat.. Eventually buy a beater. (basically anything between 50-70K). This would be a whole different performance level from anything I am used to.

2) Give BMW F30 back. Buy an E92 M3 (one of my dream cars). Deal with the expensive cost of maintenance, having two RWD cars in a northern state. Would keep EB mustang. Also in consideration: Golf R, Audi S3, used Audi S4, used BMW 550 (basically anything less 40K).

3) Give BMW F30 back. Trade in EB mustang. Get a 5.0GT, Premium Pack. Deal with only having 1 car. Save money, but deal with the issues and boredom that can come from 1 car, rack up a ton of miles on 1 car. Would be able to save up for a house.

Considerations:
- I love my Mustang, but I have to say I have been eyeing an E92 M3 ever since I got my drivers license. Its been an attainable dream car for me ever since they released it back in 2008. Now I will be turning 30 in a couple of years and would like to purchase it as a gift to myself.

- At the same time, there is no denying that an S550 GT is as fast, if not faster, and has as good, if not a more modern, interior than an E92 M3 (the newest one will be 3 years old by the time I can look at one). Plus being a Ford Employee, I could get one at a very good price.

- At the same time, I can get into a brand new 2016 M3 for around 700-750/month. Its much faster than both the GT and E92 especially when modified. I won't have to worry about maintenance or any warranty costs for the first 4 years since its covered under BMWs plan. Also the interior will be far better than the E9x generation. And it's a new car, and I like the feeling of owning a new car.

What would you guys do? I know this is a mustang forum so I expect the opinions to be skewed slightly. Sorry for the long post.

.... If I were you and was interested in spending close to $700-$750 (don't know if that is just a car note and no insurance) a month I would look at a GT 350 or even the new Camaro ZL1 (which is supposed to come out in a year or so..)

I don't know if you would get bored with just driving a V8 everyday especially with exhaust... Maybe get a cheap DD to go with it!

I mean when I get out of my Accord and drive my 5.0.. I grin ear to ear. I won't lie 5.0 is a great buy for the $$$.

Not helpful but that is what I would do if I was in your position.

No GT350 option?

I'm not a fan of the new M3, so it would basically come down to an E92 or a GT350 (or a regular Mustang GT with some mods).

I ended up going with the GT350. It is was supposed to be the weekend car, but it has turned into the daily driver. It's a great car.

The BMW M2 might be an option as well. I prefer it over the M4.

I wish. I know I'm going to sound like a ***** for this, but I need an Automatic/DCT. If Ford made an AT/DCT version of that car, I'd be all over it already

Oh, and dealers seem to charge far more for that car than MSRP (market adjustment). And my employee discount does not count towards it either.

M2 is definitely a consideration, but they are being priced to the point where I'd rather get an F80 M3. The deals are better.

Option #1. When my GT was at the body shop I drove a 2011 M3 DCT for a week. It was fast, no doubt about it, but... soul less?

Wonder what the majority of responses will be on a Mustang6G forum?

Trade both find a 13-14 gt500
Nope, not interested in the S197 chassis. Drove a few didn't like it.
If I was going for manual only, I'd have an S550 GT350 over an S197 GT500 any day.

I posted the same question on the BMW forum, I'm going to look at the ratios/percentages for each option. Slow work day :D

C7 or C8, if you can. The ZO6 or the new 2017 Grand Sport. I'm seriously looking at the Grand Sport...but will NOT be letting the stag go

What is your budget?

Do you need four seats?

Daily driver?

C7Z06s are coming down in price. I would either get one of those or a GTR.

Budget - 40-70K. Lower is better, 70k is reaching but I could make it for the right car.
Four seats - very high priority. The only exception I was considering was the C7. My current car is a sedan and its very useful when I have my friends or my family around.
Daily driver - yes.
