I have had a few people come up to me and ask me
"what is a California Special"
Had a few at the Prom last week
Upset a Ferrari driver
told one kid it does "Special Things"
he asked me what? told him to step back, and behind my back hit the RS, he said that was SICK
Called his mates over from the Ferrari and told them, then 3 of them sat in the car had their pic taken, then the 1st kid went and asked the Ferrari driver if his can do that

Has it got a California special badge on it? never noticed that before

Got a parking ticket where the make of my car was put down as Ford Capri. I got off.

A TV presenter asked Phil Collins if it was his Ford GT parked in the underground garage. Should have seen his face when another cameraman shouted out, no it belongs to that guy on camera 3.

Got stopped for speeding by the police who asked what it was and was it worth what, £120k? or £150k?

Should have seen his face when I said it probably cost less than his patrol car, lol.

Says California Special around the rear logo on the back. Also (SOME) have California Special stripes on the sides, but I wouldn't expect a random public person to differentiate between side stripes :lol:!

I took a cruise this morning down Bawtry road on the posher side of town. Although everyone living over that that way isn't so posh are they [MENTION=26439]hinch[/MENTION]

Anyway I saw in the rear view mirror a Ferrari pull out behind me a couple of cars back. Quite a new one soft top down and that. When the road turned 2 lanes he pulled out to the side of me. I gave him a blat with my solo XV and a thumbs up at the lights. Ha he didn't even look round I swear his nose was so high if it rained he would have drowned :lol::lol::lol:

I know a Mustang is a bit blue collar, a peoples car, but where ever I go people of all types seem to just love it. I don't know about you guys but I'm a gear head car lover and I just don't get car snobbery I bet mine was newer than his that was it :lol:

There's some nice houses up your way with garages for 3 or 4 cars. I'm not bothered about those big houses especially if your neighbours are like that but a large garage for 3-4 cars would be just great
