Not trying to rain on the parade, but it looks like Highway 1 won't be an option this year

that's up by Big Sur. We still have the rest of hwy1 to enjoy!

Looks like they are tearing down a very sturdy bridge that doesn't want to come down. Aren't there plenty of bridges elsewhere falling apart???? :shrug:

Thats a bit south of Cambria. Not an issue unless you were planning to use Hwy 1 coming up or heading south for the SoCal folks.

Last year we had the huge fire. We were lucky with that one.

Looking forward to clear skies this year!

I am looking at the bridge on a google map. Looks roughly 50-70 miles NORTH of Cambria.

[MENTION=12988]tyseq[/MENTION] [MENTION=16649]Rich of So Cal[/MENTION] [MENTION=16750]Redcruzer[/MENTION] Appreciate everyone looking out for the road conditions We are monitoring the progress of everything happening on Hwy 1 between Cambria and Sand City. We are also working on alternate routes from Cambria to Sand City so by the time the weekend rolls around we will have a definite route that we will be taking. As we get closer I will be making updated posts so everyone is fully aware before we head up to Cambria :cheers:
