Paxton GT puts a gap on Hellcat

Took the car out to the drag strip today. Full weight (even left my kids car seat in the back). I wanted to go against a Hellcat, and I got the chance. This is my first time back at the track since having the new pistons and rods put in the car. It didn't disappoint. I only have in car footage since I went alone and just have my one GoPro.

Sounds like a beast. So like a bunch of people that went Paxton, when are you going with a turbo setup?

I'm comfortable with the Paxton and have no desire to go turbos with this car.

Holy crap no helmet,that must be one relaxed track lol.Nice pass man and would love to see the slip.I like beating up on Hellcats too!!!!.

haha. My bad I didn't read all the comments at first. I ran a bunch of times. I was between 10.9-11.3s on my runs. Some of my 60' were garbage. 130-131mph.

Yea they are pretty relaxed with the street cars. My helmet was in the trunk, you can hear it fly into the rear seat and make a loud thud during my burnout lol

No helmet required at that track for those speeds?

very nice....what did you and the hellcat run?.....i know my hellcat is no match for my 2015 JT Coyote but it did run 10.76 @ 126.7 rock stock with a 305/35/20 drag radial....and i weigh 385lbs....Hellcats problem is its weight. but for a 4500lb car it gets around really nice in factory trim with a warranty..... i know there isnt much left on warranty for my coyote, maybe the stereo...lol. heres a vid of my hellkitty a few days after i bought it and put the required 1000 miles on it...

That's really incredible, walk into a dealer, drive away, toss on some drag tires and run a solid 10.xx at over 125MPH.
