We'll have to see but I tend to agree with Notes on this one. It's in Fords financial interst to minimize the number of differences between the domestic and export cars so I'm sure they have put at least some effort into improving on this.
As far as pricing goes with the current exchange rate EU cars are really quite a bit cheaper than US cars after you add import tax.
