You running there any other times this summer? Starting a track bucket list and that one seems doable for a an extended weekend trip. Only my second year and ready a bucket list lol

Figure also a nice way to meet others from the forum

Excellent build thread, looks like you've thoroughly enjoyed the process and the car looks great. What front splitter is that in the pics on the last page?

It's from SBS Performance (search on Facebook). It's an overpriced routered piece of bendy ABS but it was cheaper than the other options. Have to specify you want wide "fangs" if you want it to look like mine and Stoli's (he has/had the same one). Honestly... I'll be making my own in a month or so.

Ladies and gentleman, a miracle has happened. I, wildcatgoal, the world's second worst drag racer (my mom is the 1st worst) broke 13 seconds in the 1/4. When I saw the slip, I nearly cried... I am so bad at drag racing it's laughable.

No changes to my car since I was just there to kill off tires I was having replaced the next day. So that means approx. -1.9 rear camber, same shock and sway adjustments I used a week prior at Road Atlanta, 285 Conti DW tires that have seen 5 track days. VMP tune (specifically tailored to road course work, not so much max power). This was about a 3K launch with some clutch slippage. No wheel hop, short shifted 2-3 at about 6K and 1-2 was a bunch of tire spin, which was the norm all night and has been since the VMP tune. If it matters, I think I was maybe the 5th or 6th car to use the left lane that night.

This was at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA during a Friday "Street Legal" Drag. I'm 251 in the left lane. There was a prominent head wind on this night as a storm was rolling in. The other car as a Z06 convertible who's owner revved it constantly like it was a g'dam Harley.

I'm happy. I'll probably never get this time again, but I'm happy... haha.

Second oil analysis. Liqui Moly 5W40 synthetic over ~5,000 miles and 4 track days (car said oil life was 53%, if I remember correctly... for sure just over 50%).

I guess I just saw this. I will be doing Gridlife South HPDE and I might do another JZilla track day at Road Atlanta and AMP this year if funds permit.

Well look at what came in the FedEx truck today! I'll probably install them this weekend since I'll be test-fitting my 11" / 305 NT01 square setup in preparation for going to Charlotte Motor Speedway's ROVAL and, soon after, Gridlife at Road Atlanta. Steeda provided really nice installation tools suitable for a shop press, as well.

^^^ interested to hear your feedback on these
Couldn't find the time to install them prior to my Charlotte Motor Speedway HPDE but I'll get them in there before Gridelife (I hope). Anywho...

This is a night time view from my GoPro mounted to my dash. Still learning good GoPro angles. Not to mention my GoPro is ancient and is apparently awful at low light. I have the TrackAddict view from my windshield I'll eventually get up. I was experimenting with real video editing software with this and, well, didn't learn it very well. Haha.

Preview photo from a track photographer showing my rotors starting to glow as I just hit the brakes about to enter the infield course. Pretty cool! Looking forward to more photos as the fact the rotor is only glowing on half the surface is weird to me, but you can see it's starting to expand some and perhaps my brake cooling has something to do with that - not sure. But... :headbang:
