Front splitter info

Talked to the dealer and the 350R front splitter is roughly $2600 or so, unless anyone knows better.

Being to excited about my car, I completely forgot to look at the non R front splitter while it was in the box to see how it goes on and what it is made of. Anyone know if these things are carbon or plastic or what?

Anyone know if the R version mounts any different or if it uses the same holes? Does it have any additional bracing in the front bumper that you can not see? I know the ZR1 does over the other cars.

So looking for pics / options / details.

I don't know of an R here in town yet to look at. The dealer I got mine from is getting one but no idea when. Maybe I can sneak in and grab some pics before they install it.

A factory part diagram would be killer though, like the one posted of the wings.

High strength polymer.

It looks like the R version is one piece instead of three. Install is a bit of a pain due to lack of access. Track pack coolers located in the lower fascia make it difficult to get to the inner clips.

I didn't install my track pack front splitter yet because I'm also going to get the R. I think it looks better then the non R.

How do they ship the R splitter? The non-R barely fits in the trunk as is.

I DO, got it today this is shelby GT350 front splitter that comes separately for PDI...FR3V-17D997-AE... fordparts.com doesnt have it yet

After seeing some of the pictures of the R splitter on the ground....I don't think it is making as much downforce as people seem to think it is...but it sure does look better.

Retail for this part is about $480. Like to know why the R is $2600! With an R VIN, I can check the price.

Here is an R VIN, would like to know the price as well. Hopefully it goes in the FRPP catalog soon
