you literally made the perfect choice on wheels:headbang:
Thank you sincerely! I spent a year and a half looking for the right wheel, but when Edgar from Need4SpeedMotors showed me the new Project 6gr 5's that they had in development 4 months ago I knew I had found a winner!

That's what I'm talking about! Right on Brandon. Looks mean as hell! Nicely done my friend.
Thank you cgreen5150! I'm super happy with the look and blown away by the fitment. I've seen several of my buddies struggle with rubbing and excessive poke. I was happy that these fit perfect with 0 adjustments needed!!!

Thank you Dominant1!!!! My car is a mid run 16, so I didn't have a lot of the panel gap issues that the 15's had, but they did completely disassemble the vehicle (you can see in the photos) before paint. The paint itself laid down like a dream! It has only minimal orange peal and a ruby metallic so deep it looks like you can put your hand through it. Add a coat of tinted ceramic clear on top of that, and the paint shows colors now that you only had glimpses of before with the factory smattering!

That's an awesome paint job, I've owned 3 candy metallic ponies now. The wheels are 19" at what weight?

Congrats on having 3 candied cars! I'm not 100% sure if this is your build or mine anymore lol. I don't have an exact weight number on the 5's. They are 19's in the front and 20's in the back. Perhaps Edgar @Need4SpeedMotors</I> can help us out with weights...

While my car is in the body shop I took the opportunity to take my upper and lower grills home and re-finished them and re-installed the top quarter grills. The body shop will be finally installing my @VelossaTech Big Mouth ram air as well! Super excited to get her home and feel the high speed horses that the Big Mouth will add!

Absolutely beautiful, My color to!!

I just purchased a 2017 this past May, Rub Red, 5,0 with the Performance pack! Love the car, planning a few mods to, but still deciding, one for sure , i've just order the Roush resonator delete X-Pipe, probably going with the Borla - S or Ford performance - S, axle backs
A question? I really like your side fender graphics, mayI ask where you had / got them done?

On a side note, i've just joined this forum a few days ago and still trying to figure out how to get my Avitar up etc. " Figured it out "

The Build Is Back Baby!

After taking a brief hiatus following the custom paint job and the new wheels the build is back and ready to roar into 18! Below is a list and write up of the new mods planned and purchased:

I will be working with Will at RPG tuning ( Will@Whipple ) to do a N/A build!

Engine:

MMR stage 3 head porting with complete 5 axis valve job
Upgraded springs and seals
Custom ground Comp Cams
Ford Racing head gaskets
ARP head studs
MMR timing chain guides and arms
Billet OPGs and crank sprocket.
GT350 timing chain tensioners
GT350 intake manifold
JBA ceramic coated short tube headers
Lund Nguage
13-14 GT500 injectors

Suspension/Driveline:

GT350 half shafts
BMR tubular vertical links
BMR lockout kit
Steeda IRS alignment kit

And...of course I have to do some more lighting mods since I love DD. However, I'm not going to go all Technicolor dreamcoat on you lol. I want the lights to appear to be and function like OEM to the average Joe...so here's the parts list.

Lighting:

Diode Dynamics sequencing switchback DRLs
Diode Dynamics switchback Halos
Diode Dynamics demon eyes
Diode Dynamics blue tooth controller

Hope ya'll enjoy stage 3 or the build is gonna be fun!

Wow! Lots of goodies! Going to be a killer NA set up for sure!

I hadn't seen those JBA shortie headers before, intriguing!
