Stock V6's: 0-60 times

I could’ve swore there was a thread for this in the V6 section but I guess I was wrong.

For those who have a stock V6 with the MT, just wondering what your best 0-60 time with the car was.

Curious because the best time I ever got was 6 seconds flat and that was bone stock like 2 years ago. Lately I haven’t even been able to hit the low 6s. I only have a GT catback and a K&N drop in filter, I have a pedalcommander too but I took it off for now.

I rarely do this 0-60 thing but just wondering what your guys best time was. I probably need to learn how to launch better.

We did have one before.

Lol I just tried yesterday and freakin got 7 seconds and then another run at 7.2 seconds. I used to hit between 6-6.5 all the time and yesterday was the first time I even saw 7 seconds.

My best time so far. I'll admit I don't do a lot of 0-60. MPT 93 tune.

There is a thread of 0-60 times already, you're not crazy, its just buried. The best I ran was 6 seconds flat. That was with my GT catback and pedalmax. I've since added the GT TB, drive modes and velossatech big mouth. I only tried a couple times and was very rusty after having it sit over the winter. I shifted before redline and was only able to achieve 6.1 seconds.

I get 5.6 and it's repeatable, and I have similar mods to all of you. Make sure you turn off advance Trac not just Trac control and make sure your on flat ground. Also with your tunes you have to watch for knock when going WOT. If I'm doing 0-60s I usually have to use half a can of octanium to not only stop knock but have it go negative at WOT and the ecu advances the timing witch results in MORE POWER! (in Jeremy Clarksons voice). Only thing I can think of that I might be doing different than you guys.

Edit: Just noticed it's stock v6 60 times lol sorry I wrote that 5 mins after I woke up. But still good to know that with a few bolt ons and a tune can get you to 5.6

I get around 7.5...my problem is definitely my shifting. Do you guys have any tips for shifting faster?

Hold the rpms around 2k, let out the clutch slightly slower then dumping it while bringing the throttle up to 75% once you hit the engament point, then full throttle once the tires catch. Then powershift into 2nd.

I do it that way so I don't just dump the clutch every time and add more wear but I'm sure others have better techniques.

The best I got was 6.5 but I had to shift to 3rd gear in order to reach 60.

What gear ratio do you have? I thought all v6's come stock with 3.15

3.55 . You always have option to upgrade it to 3.55 while ordering it from factory.
I have few questions for you
1) do you powershift or quickshift. I have always thought about powershifting but never tried it .
2) Is just getting a tune worth it. I see you have lots of mods to compliment the tune but what about a tune with Cai and muffler delete

Regarding power/quick shifting.. I don't hold the accelerator down completely, I release it to about 15% throttle then back to WOT. I've never done a flat out powershift, I do not have faith in this clutch but I'm at 24k miles and clutch is still holding well so idk lol

I think the tune is always the best bang for the buck when it's done right. I think a good 93 tune, CAI, and muffler delete will make a noticeable difference, nothing crazy but will make the car more fun to drive!

Totally stock 6.4 sec to 100 kmph (62 mph). Auto. Just put foot to floor and let off when speed achieved. Got same times in D or S Using regular gas

my best was 4.9 on a cold sea level night. normally I can manage 5.2-5.3....though I need o try again down at sea level now that I have 373s though now im on 20s...so that's not helping
