10s on Motor?

Has anyone been 10s on motor yet with out significant weight reduction?

According to : http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16739 ,no. But that's not to say someone isn't advertising the fact.

I think @RBS550 is closet and may be first.

Just to be clear, I don't think he's ran a 10 yet, but he's really low 11's NA.

I believe the closest is steph93lx iirc followed by rbs550 and then another guy.

10s can done without crazy weight loss. The traps are there, the irs 60fts so far seems to be whats keeping it just barely away for the moment. Itll get there. Especially without cam upgrades

Not many have torn into the motor NA yet from what I've seen. I believe I'm one of the first on here.

lol, rob is licking 11.1's up north. I'm at sea level with a built top end, corn, FBO, lightened drive train, weight reduction, full suspension, and slicks. I'll be in the tens, just not sure how far.

October and November will be full of 10s .

Agreed, I think there will be a few FBO tens with some weight reduction.

I agree, but it doesn't seem like any FBO cars have broken the barrier yet.

I am planning to shoot of 10s on motor but I need a few weight reduction items. I recently went 11.8 at 118.5 on drag radials with 1.74 60ft in 1300 da. My car weighs 3960. My next step will be racestars and slicks. I am growing tired of in consistent traction on the drag radials.

head work

I think it should be possible without cams or head work under ideal conditions on slicks. I am willing to try an intake but I will throw boost on the car before going into the motor.
