VMP is now offering easy-install hood vent directional kit. This kit allows 2015 and 2017+ Mustangs to have the retro style hood vent LED marker as the turn signal flash!

The 2016 Mustang actually received a factory amber LED marker in the hood vent but the 15 and 17 does not have these.

Let me know if you have any questions

I actually want to get a kit for my 16 as a spare just in case. I like the signals and want to keep them on my car even if mine break. I just can't get them now.

I was considering swapping the stock amber for the Red in my 16 GT

I didn't know the 15/17 didn't have them. Now I feel special except I could live without them.

They are actually rather worthless as you can only see the driver's side. The passenger side you can see if you lean waaaaaaaaay over. Hood ridges are too tall for the blinker placement.

Cool factor? Sure.

I'll sell you my stock ones - took them off at 300 miles...but they're in Magnetic color

New to mods. Just have a question on the functionality of the hood vents. Do they actually help in heat extraction in a tangible way? Would installing the turning indicators inhibit the heat extraction? How important is heat extraction?
Thanks in advance for the schooling! :ford:

Worthless? Eh not really. Since they are made for people who are driving next to you to see your desire to change lanes, not so much to remind the driver to change lanes. I cant see my taillights work, but the people who drive behind me can. And I don't think they're worthless :)
