You and me both brother. It's gonna be better than what I've got. If you're always waiting for the next best thing, you'll never have anything to enjoy. Plus, we'll get to enjoy ours all summer long!

It'd be cool if Ford allowed 2015 owners a software update from MFT to S3, but I'm not sure what hardware requirements are in place for the new system.

Needs a new capacitive display with the new SYNC module. Not trivial, but it can be retrofitted if you're willing to void your warranty.

I sold my 2015 to an impatient kid last year so i am ready for the 2016 , i hope they bring at least a sunroof or glass roof.

To me, MFT, even the latest one, is horrible. I have used other cars infotainment systems, and MFT is just bad in comparison. I am waiting for 2016.

Of course, if you've never had any system like this, it will be nice. But if you really can't wait, just get the 2015. Just know it can't be upgraded to Sync3 (different hardware).

+1 on the Sync 3, looks pretty good. This is closer to the time I will probably order, good news. I waited until the second year on my current car. Here's to hoping they offer this combo:

Race Red - Redline Recaros - Premier Trim with Color Accent Group (black with red stitching).

I was dumbfounded to see you could not order Race Red with black interior/red stitching. :frusty:

2015 Mustang! What I Don't Like About It SO FAR!

EXTERIOR
The whole Rear End is UGLY! Tail Lights SUCK.
License Plate Area Is Unfinished For The USA.
Back Up Light is a SINGLE Light Located Center Bottom.
Rear Bottom Valance on V6 Is Not Defined.
FORD Logo On Windshield NOT PONY. The Whole Roof SUCKS.
High Mount Stop Light is RECESSED into Rear Window Where
Rear Window and Roof Meet. LIKE FUSION.
Trunk Lid Lines Cut Across the Bottom of ROOF.
Mustang Is Not A Vette or Viper. Roof Has Two Bubbles.
HOOD SIDE LINES TOO FAR OUT AT FENDER AND OVER at WINDSHIELD!
Side SUCKS! Rocker Panel looks ADD ON. TOO Many Panel Joint
Lines. Rear of Rocker Panel goes up INTO Rear Quarter Panel.
Rocker Panel STICKS OUT to the SIDE and you will STEP
ON IT WHEN YOU EXIT. The Whole SIDE LINES SUCK!
SIDE GLASS OVER B PILLAR LOOKS STUPID! Pillar LOOKS BETTER!
Mirrors Mounted on SIDE Of DOORS are FRAGIL and FOLD. WHY?
Standard Wheels SUCK. SO DO ALL BLACK WHEELS. Tires are TOO
WIDE 235/17R55. And HANKOOK AND GOODYEAR Tires are BAD BRANDS.
FRONT END LOOKS OK BUT, Turn Signal/Parking Light Lens are not
Finished on the Bottom.
Under the front is a 4 BALL JOINT SETUP. 2013/2014 is BETTER.
IRS will RIDE BETTER but the LOG REAR END WAS PERFECTED on 13/14.
The IRS has HALF SHAFTS like a FWD Car. I DO NOT WANT HALF SHAFTS!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT
SHORT BRACES ON EACH FRONT CORNER and OPEN SPACE TO FENDER.
Top of EACH FENDER has a RUBBER SEAL to STOP WATER from LEAKING
into ENGINE COMPARTMENT from EACH SIDE of the HOOD. (WHAT)!
V6 Downgraded to 300HP and DETUNED and has SMALLER, LOWER INTAKE
PLUS 3:15 Rear Gears will DELIVER LESS MPG! (TO SELL ECO 4)
3 BOLT STRUT TOWER. NOT 4 BOLT like MOST MUSTANGS.
BATTERY STORED in a COMPARTMENT at FIREWALL UNDER VENT PANEL.
2015 has OPEN SIDES under the hood and Vent Panel is WARPED.
2011 V6 = 5.1 to 60 13.7 in 1/4 @ 102.VS 2015 EB 5.2 13.8 102.
Update 1/5/14 The EB 4 with 87 gas MIGHT be 35HP LESS.
INTERIOR
NO TOGGLE SWITCHES ON V6 CAR. CARBON FIBER LOOK ON DASH.
PUSH BUTTON START. LARGE KEY FOB.
SMALL FONTS used on SPEEDO and TACH PODS. EYEBROWS are TOO SQUARE.
WIPER STALK Moved to Right Side of Steering Wheel. Lights Stalk
Still on Left Side. AUTO LAMPS and AUTO WIPERS.
STEERING WHEEL has TOO MANY BUTTONS UNDER THE SPOKES.
DO NOT CARE FOR PADDLES. + - On Gear Shift Is More Like MANUAL.
I DO NOT WANT SYNC! or an I-CAR. (GET IT, I PHONE).
Back up Camera is in the REAR VIEW MIRROR on the BASE V6 Car.
TOO MUCH TECH and THOSE ITEMS CANNOT BE DELETED To LOWER PRICE!
HEAD REST are TOO THIN! Seat Belt LOOPS on Top of Seat Back.
Console Cup Holders are NOT COVERED with a LID TO REST YOUR ARM.
DO WE NEED PRNDS Between the PODS and BY THE SHIFTER and ON KNOB?
Tweeter Speakers in A PILLAR are sticking out in front view.
This 2015 will COST YOU $25,000 and it is NOT the TRUE 50th Year!
I bought a 2014 MADE IN APRIL 2014 a TRUE 50th Year CAR for $19,988.
In 10 years the 2025 MAY BE BETTER. I LIKE MINE BETTER NOW!
MAYBE FORD WILL CHANGE THESE THINGS I HATE ABOUT THE 2015.

Well it will also depend on the packages. If they switch some packages up, then that will make my decision hard also.

Sync 3 isn't a big deal for me.

In car maps are always out of date, I'd rather use my phone or a dedicated GPS.

I usually don't listen to music in the car unless my wife is with me. If I do it's from a SD card and I just throw it on shuffle. The speed of the menus impacts me about once a month.

2016 model jeez! Can't even cant a concrete date for the 2015 model to hit the uk.

Sync 3 will allow you to use your smartphone map apps according to the site.

I'm in for a GT350 so I have no choice but to wait. I think it will be worth the wait.

I wonder if in the 15s if youre going to be able to upgrade it to the Sync 3.

Shut down should give them plenty of time to swap out the welding jigs, bad quarter panel/roof/trunk lid stamping dies and mold up some new plastic for the tail lights and trunk panel. Will be looking forward to the new parts to replace those, that I can, on my '15.
