Apparently Mustangs are rock magnets and I have a few chips on my hood. Was already considering put stripes on but now I am curious if I should fill up the chips with something like Dr Colorchip first to level the paint. Flip side is will the paint fill not work well with the stripes (cause lumps, not bond and cause bubbling, etc).

Appreciate the help guys.

When you install stripes, you are going to see every little chip in the paint, so dont even worry about it, just install the stripes and enjoy them

Air pockets will expand under heat so you end up with small pimples.
